Holders Manchester United are the third favourites to win the trophy at 4/1

Manchester United beat Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup Final last season and they now face the Toon in the competition once more this season in the 4th round.

Erik Ten Hag's men got a straightforward victory against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night to see them ease through to the next round but they face a tricky tie against Newcastle next.

Eddie Howe's men are flying high after a point away to AC Milan at the San Siro was followed by an 8-0 thrashing of Sheffield United and a 1-0 win against league cup favourites Manchester City.

Despite a tricky tie in the next round the latest betting odds put Man Utd as the third favourites to win the Carabao Cup this season with a 20% chance of doing so according to the latest odds.

The draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup was done last night and there were some tasty fixtures that were thrown up by Don Goodman and Neil Lennon who picked the balls out.

Mansfield Town are the lowest ranked side left in the competition and they will face League One Port Vale in the next round which will see one of those sides go through to the Quarters.

West Ham host Arsenal in a cracking all-Premier League affair with the Gunners looking to kick on in a competition that they aren't the best in with only 2 EFL Cups won in their history.

The fourth round draw for the EFL Cup in full is:

  • Mansfield Town v Port Vale
  • Ipswich Town v Fulham
  • Manchester United v Newcastle United
  • AFC Bournemouth v Liverpool
  • Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers
  • West Ham United v Arsenal
  • Everton v Burnley
  • Exeter City v Middlesbrough
