  • Top Chef: World All-Stars debuted on March 9th.
  • The competition began with 16 chefs, and has already eliminated two (Samuel Albert, Dawn Burrell).
  • The winner receives $250,000.

Top Chef is back in a big way. With the latest iteration of the popular long-running cooking show premiering on March 9, 2023 – fans are in for a treat, as this season hosts a competition from past winners and runner ups from previous seasons, as well as a new production site in London, U.K.

In week one of the new series, fans were shocked as Samuel Albert, Top Chef France winner from Season 10 was the first contestant to be eliminated after a disastrous tiger prawn carpaccio failed to win over the judges. In the following week, Dawn Burrell soured the judges tastebuds with a misguided braised oxtail dish with black venus congee.

The winner of Top Chef: World All-Stars is set to win US$250,000. With stakes like these, it’s no wonder that the show has been a popular addition to many betting sites and sportsbooks and betting on Top Chef odds now something fans are looking for.

Tom Goetter Remains the Favourite to Win Top Chef: World All-Stars

After winning the inaugural season of Top Chef: Germany in 2019, Tom Goetter has been a revelation on the All-Stars stage so far, with strong showings in both the first and second episodes of the latest season. Although Tom has yet to win a Quickfire challenge, his dish in the group round of last episode was picked as the strongest within his group.

Although Tom is currently enjoying the top spot of our odds table, we think that other strong contestants should be able to unseat him from this position in upcoming weeks. Keep an eye out for Ali Al Ghwazi and Charbel Hayek, who managed to win in weeks one and two, respectively.

Keep an Eye Out for Buddha Lo, Begona Bodrigo, and Dale McKay

Although they currently sit in the middle of the odds tables, we think contestants Buddha Lo, Begona Bodrigo, and Dale McKay present some great value opportunities for betting this week. While Buddha Lo has yet to win a challenge up until this point, the former winner of Season 19 of Top Chef USA remains an audience favorite, and has yet to be close to elimination so far.

Conversely, Begona Bodrigo (winner of Top Chef Spain: Season 1) is another candidate that we recommend keeping an eye on. She had a strong showing in Week 1 with an impressive pumpkin dish. Although she didn’t quite reach the same level of judge admiration in Week 2, we think her current odds present a chance to get a great value bet.

The winner of the first season of Top Chef: Canada, Dale McKay is another chef that could prove to last a long time in this competition. Although Dale hasn’t won a challenge yet, his take on plantains managed to wow the judges during the Quickfire group challenge in Week 2. At his current odds, he presents a compelling bet.

Sylwia Stachyra and Luciana Berry – Stay Away

Both Sylwia and May look to be among the next contestants eliminated during this ultra competitive season of Top Chef. Neither have managed to impress the judges in any tangible way, with Sylwia being one of the lower candidates in the second week, alongside Luciana. They only managed to not get eliminated due to Dawn Burrell’s poor showing during the elimination round.

We recommend steering clear of any bets involving these two candidates, as we don’t have faith that they’ll be able to last.
