The NFL regular season spans an 18 week schedule (including a bye week) which will conclude on Sunday 7th January 2024. The 32 NFL franchises will play 17 games through the regular season made up via the following criteria:

  • The three teams in their division - twice (home & away)
  • Four teams from another division in their conference (AFC/NFC) - Once
  • Four teams from a division in the other conference (AFC/NFC) - Once
  • The remaining two teams from their conference who finished in the same divisional position last season - Once
  • An Inter conference match up that took place two years earlier based on teams finishing in the same divisional position the previous season.

Super Bowl LVIII Post Season

Upon conclusion of the regular season on Sunday 7th January 2024, the 14 play off teams will be:

  • The 4 AFC divisional winners
  • The 4 NFC divisional winners
  • 3 AFC teams with the next best win/loss record
  • 3 NFC teams with the next best win/loss record

First round bye spots in the play offs are up for grabs for one of the NFC four divisional winners finishing with the best win/loss record and the same for one of the AFC Four divisional winners.
