Love all sports but particularly interested in Horse Racing, Football and Golf. From a betting point of view I look to find situations were I think that the price doesn't reflect the selections true chance. This is more likely with some of the so called minor sports. Needs a lot of study and watching lead up events or races but this is what I really enjoy.I live in Central Scotland and work in eastern Europe so have a lot of time on my hands when travelling.

The run at Doncaster in March came after a decent break and will surely strip fitter tonight. The yards runners often need a run. 71 looks a winnable mark and I would be surprised if he was not significantly better than that in time. Rob Hornby has made a terrific start to the season. Well supported in the market and still worth an interest at this price.

Won here twice over this trip two years ago prior to an extended time off. Pulled up at Kempton last month on the first run back but likely to benefit from that and show considerable improvement. Has run well in this race before, finishing second two years ago. Toby McCain-Mitchell is a fine pilot in these types of races and is a firm plus. The horses chase records is good with three wins, a second and three thirds to his name. Won at the track over hurdles last year. The horse has clearly had issues but this is the second run back after a wind operation and it may be the right time to catch him. The shape of this market suggests that something can get into a place at big odds and it may pay to take a chance on this one more through the process of elimination of other contenders. Very interesting market support on first start over fences and could be worth following. Sean Quinlan rides the track well and is a plus having him on board. Early bumper and novice form showed enough promise to think the horse would be winning races in the future. Clearly there have been subsequent issues, and he has had wind surgery to try to correct whatever issues he was having. The run at Taunton last month came after very long time off the track and I have a feeling we will see a better run second time up in an easier race. The yard have hit form with three winners in the last two weeks. The horse races today off a mark that is eighteen pounds lower than the highest rating and could be a fun bet at this price.

Should improve significantly off the back of the run at Doncaster recently which came after a longish break. Now fourteen pounds below his highest mark when running in Ireland and is clearly well handicapped. A reproduction of the third at Newbury and second at York last Autumn would be good enough to take this race. Only run on the all weather came at Dundalk some time ago and should like the surface today. Worth an interest at this price.
