Martin Schindler is going to be my outside bet for the 2025 World Darts Championship. With Littler and Humphries both in the same side of the draw, someone in the second bracket has to be the best bet for an each-way punt. The obvious choice would be three-time world champion Michael Van Gerwen, but he isn't as indestructible as he used to be, and someone like Martin Schindler represents a lot better value. The German number one won on the European Tour this year and has made multiple deep runs in a few pro tour events. His bracket includes a hit-or-miss Callan Rydz and an out-of-form Dimitri Van Den Bergh. There's no reason 'The Wall' shouldn't at least reach the round of 16, at which point it's anybody's game.
