19:45 Brackley v Needham Market

Brackley

Brackley have taken twelve points from their last five home games and are sixth in the table. Although Needham Market have improved in recent games, they are still bottom of the table. Earlier in the season, when Brackley traveled to Needham Market, they came away with all three points. So, going for them to complete the double.
19:45 Burnley v Oxford Utd

Burnley

A win tonight could see Burnley move up into second spot in the table. Their last fourteen home games have seen them win six and draw eight. Against teams in the lower half of the table, they need to turn these draws into wins to give them a chance of an automatic promotion spot at the end of the season. After five successive league away defeats, Oxford have remained unbeaten in their last four away games. None of those four games were against a top ten Championship side, so taking Burnley to get the three points.

19:45 Halifax v AFC Fylde

Halifax

Halifax are currently within the play-off zone whilst AFC Fylde are in the relegation zone. AFC Flde have lost eleven of their last twelve away league games. With Halifax on a winning run of four league victories, two of which were at home, going for Halifax to get the win.
19:45 QPR v Blackburn

Blackburn

QPR come into this game on the back of two defeats, away at Millwall and at home to Sheffield Wednesday. After three successive defeat Blackburn got back to winning ways in their last game which was at home to Preston who are one point behind QPR in the table. Blackburn are the higher of the two teams in the table and have won on their last two visits to QPR.

Michael Holt is the far more experienced player of these two, which should stand him in good stead for tonight's match against his Egyptian opponent, who has lost nine of his last ten matches. Holt is the higher-ranked player of the two, and having beaten Neil Robertson at the World Open, I'm taking him to get the win.

At the time of writing, Trump has won both matches today but is losing in the third. He beat Hossein Vafaei by five frames the last time they met, which was in a best of nineteen frame match. Given that win and Trump's earlier form today, I'm taking him to get the win.

The last time Black Hawk Eagle won was in January 2024 at Hereford in a class three race over two miles off a mark of 116. Since then, he has raced four times, finishing in the frame twice. Some of those races were at a higher level than the one he won. Today, he drops back to a class four race and runs off a mark of 120. Back in this lower class of race, every chance Black Hawk Eagle can make his presence felt.

The last four times West Ham have traveled to Chelsea, they have left with nothing, and in two of the games, they failed to score. Chelsea are higher in the table and remain a team that has not dropped that many points at home this season. With their record against West Ham and with West Ham not being that strong away from home, every chance Chelsea can take all three points.

Without doubt, the stadium will be rocking in this North East Derby between Middlesbrough and Sunderland. Sunderland are currently fourth in the table, three places and eleven points ahead of Middlesbrough after both teams have played twenty-nine games. Middlesbrough's recent form has not been as good as their opponents. Sunderland won their last away game, which was at Derby, so I'm going for them to get their first win at Middlesbrough since 2005.

Olly Murphy runs two in this race, Bread and Butter and Bobbu Socks, who is ridden by Sean Bowen. Bread and Butter started the season well, winning three consecutive races and then finished third at the end of December where his jockey could only claim three pounds. Today, Bread and Butter races off the same mark, but this time his jockey can claim seven pounds. Those additional four pounds could make all the difference between finishing in the frame and not.

Napoli continue to set the pace at the top of Serie A. They have won their last four away games, two of which were against teams higher in the table than Roma.

16:30 Arsenal v Man City

Arsenal

Two sides who will be desperate for three points to keep their Premiership aspirations alive. Last season, Arsenal won this fixture. Although City have taken seven points from their last three away games, they were all against teams in the lower half of the table. Now, playing the side who are second in the Premiership, they could very well leave with nothing.

The receipt of the seven pounds mares allowance can only enhance her chances.

The last time Inis Oirr won a race was this race last year. Prior to that race, he finished fifth at Market Rasen. This season, he again ran in the same race at Market Rasen and finished fifth. Today's jockey is claiming five pounds. In today's race, he carries a mark of 124, but when you take the five pounds off, he is racing off a mark of 119, which is the same as last season. Hopefully, history can repeat itself.

14:00 Brentford v Tottenham

Tottenham

Tottenham have only taken one point from their last seven Premiership games and have slipped down to fifteenth in the table. They had a midweek home win in the Europa League where they scored three goals. If they can take that form on the road to Brentford, who have taken just one point from their last four home games, then every chance they can stop the decline and begin to move back up the table.
14:00 Man Utd v Crystal Palace

Man Utd

Following their away win at Fulham, the fans will be looking for United to turn their form around at home, where they have lost four of their last five Premiership home games. Palace are lower in the table than Fulham and one place lower than United.

Kopek Des Bordes is another horse which appears to have been supported today. He has only run twice, both times he won. The first was a bumper at Fairyhouse which he won by over ten lengths. Then this season he started off over hurdles, winning at Leopardstown despite making some jumping errors. If his jumping improves then every chance he can maintain his unbeaten record.

Tripoli Flyer appears to have been well supported as he steps up from a class four to a class two race. He was such an easy winner of his last race that even in this higher grade and giving weight to all but two of the other runners, he could very well go in again. With this being only his third hurdle race, improvement can still be expected.

Dundee Utd

50 WIN

@2.75

Lose

-50

The concerning factor for Kilmarnock in this game is that in their last two home games, they have failed to find the back of the net, which has meant they drew one and lost one. They are now one place off the bottom of the table. Dundee United are at the opposite end of the table in third. They have won three of their last four Premiership away games. They have not won a Premiership game at Kilmarnock since 2016, but fancy that to change today.
17:30 Wolverhampton v Aston Villa

Aston Villa

50 WIN

@2.10

Aston Villa are hovering just outside the top six in the Premiership, whilst Wolves are currently in the relegation zone. When they met earlier this season, Villa won by a couple of goals. Although Villa's away record is not great, they have shown decent qualities in beating Celtic at home midweek. Providing they can play like that again, then there's every chance of all three points going their way.

Galopin Des Champs

Daily Racing

Galopin Des Champs appeared to be back to his best when winning at Leopardstown over the Christmas period, where Fact To File finished second. He has won this race for the last two years before going on to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup. A win today will set him up nicely to complete the hat trick at Cheltenham.
15:07 3:07 Sandown

Henri The Second

Daily Racing

Henri The Second has gone up nine pounds by the handicapper and with Harry Cobden replacing the three pound claimer from his last race he is in effect carrying an extra twelve pounds over the same course and distance as his last run. That was back in early December where in very similar conditions as to what will be expected today he drew clear to win by eighteen lengths. Hopefully more of the same today despite the rise in ratings.
15:00 Bournemouth v Liverpool

Bournemouth

Liverpool had a midweek game, whilst Bournemouth have not played since last Saturday. Bournemouth put five past Nottingham Forest at home in their last game. Liverpool will be a tough test, but with the form they are showing at home, I'm willing to give Bournemouth a shout to put a dent in Liverpool's Premiership title ambitions.

Two teams with recently appointed new managers. David Moyes appears to have got the players playing well, and with Leicester losing five of their last six away games, going for the home side who collect the three points. Everton are currently six points ahead of Leicester with a game in hand.
15:00 Ipswich v Southampton

Ipswich

Southampton continue to struggle in the Premiership and are firmly rooted at the foot of the table on six points. One place above them on sixteen points is Ipswich. They met in the Championship last season when Ipswich were at home, and the home side gained all three points. Earlier this season, having traveled to Southampton, Ipswich came away with a point. With only two points to show for their last ten away Premiership games, every chance Ipswich can gain a valuable three points as they seek to move out of the relegation zone.
15:00 Newcastle v Fulham

Newcastle

Newcastle are playing well. In all competitions they have won ten of their last eleven games. Their only defeat came at home against an inspired Bournemouth side. They are higher in the table than Fulham and depending on how other results go could find themselves back in a Champions League spot providing they get the win.

Majborough looks another quality horse for the Willie Mullins yard. He won last year's Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. His first race of the season was an impressive win at Fairyhouse over the larger obstacles. Currently second favorite for the Arkle, so all in all, should be up to winning this.

All four of these horses won last time out, but it is the Nicky Henderson-trained Jango Baie who catches the eye. Having had a decent season of hurdling, Jango Baie started this season jumping the larger obstacles. 12:30 Nottm Forest v Brighton

Nottm Forest

Both these sides will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeats. Forest have taken thirteen points from their last five home Premiership games. The team they dropped points to was Liverpool, so no disgrace there. When these teams met earlier in the season, the game finished in a draw. Forest are six places and ten points higher in the table than Brighton, so going for them to get the win.
