They have a long injury list, which could be the main problem, but have enough firepower to pick up the three points today.

Easier ground and down in trip compared to that last run will suit.

Was then off until 30th October when finishing 4th of 7 over a maybe too short 2m 4f 216yds but stripped fitter for it last time out on 5th December when finishing 2nd of 6 in a class 4 back over 3m 1f 30yds on soft. Both of those last two runs were off a mark of 115, which has risen to 117 today, but step up to class 3 means less weight under usual jockey.

Big game at the top of the French League with 3rd place Monaco meeting leaders PSG. Both have played 15 league games with PSG amassing 37 points to Monaco’s 30. Both teams have only conceded 12 goals, but PSG have the better scoring stat with 40 to Monaco’s 24. Monaco’s home advantage today negates that scoring stat, and with both teams having a good defense, I don’t see any goals. So, a 0-0 scoreline, which is how a match between them finished when they last played each other in March, looks a likely outcome.

Distance winner who's turned out again quickly after running only 12 days ago, which was the first run for a new trainer after being moved from J. Gosden. Was unlucky on that latest run as he was slowly into stride and was making headway when denied a clear run inside the final furlong of 1m 5yds in a class 3 at Newcastle with a rating of 89. Interesting switched to Kempton today with the same jockey on board but rating down to 87.

Ran a good 2nd of 7 two runs ago in a class 4 over 2m 2f 111yds with a rating of 106. On the back of that, she was made favourite for her latest run where she was unlucky as her saddle slipped and she was pulled up. Looking to recoup losses quickly as she's turned out again only 11 days later, running off the same 106 rating. Is only a 5-year-old, so improvement to come.

West Ham won away at Newcastle in November before losing to Arsenal and a maybe rejuvenated Leicester. Their manager was under pressure to win their last game, which they did against Wolves, which maybe brought some confidence back. Bournemouth have the better goals for/against stat in 23:20 to West Ham’s 20:28, but I see a tight game today with defences on top, so honours shared in a low-scoring draw.

Last two runs have been here at Wolves off ratings of 57 and 55, finishing 7th on both occasions, beaten 3 1/2L and 4 3/4L. Rating today is down further to 53 with the usual jockey on board and well drawn in stall 4.

Chelsea only got back from their Europe game until Friday but have still had a couple of days recovery and have the squad to cope. They sit in an impressive 2nd place in the table and can close the gap to leaders Liverpool who could only draw yesterday. They have won their last four games and face a Brentford side today who sit in 10th place in the league but their away form does not match their home form. They are still a tough opponent for Chelsea today but I see a Chelsea win with the home advantage.

Relegation favourites and bottom of the table Southampton have only five points from 15 games and have conceded 31 goals. Tottenham's latest league form is not good, but they will have been buoyed by their midweek draw away at Rangers in the Europa League.

CD winner who won here in April in a class 3, staying on up the uphill finish, and then ran a good 3rd of 17 in May in a class 1 handicap. Was then off for 5 months, so was maybe a little ring rusty, finishing 5th of 6 in a class 3, but it blew any cobwebs away as a month later he finished a decent 4th of 15 here at Cheltenham in the class 1 Greatwood Handicap Hurdle. Runs off the same rating today as that last run but with J J Burke returning to the saddle on suitable ground.
