19:45 AC Milan v Napoli

Draw

50 WIN

@3.40

Napoli is in first place after nine games played, one more than AC Milan, who are in eighth place. AC Milan have not lost in four games played at home, with three wins and a draw. They could be holding league leaders in a game that may not produce any goals, with both clubs prepared to stop each other from playing, with many players behind the ball in defensive roles when being attacked. AC Milan have at least seven on the injury list, with Calabria not sure if he can play or not. Napoli have no worries, just one player out, Rui, and a couple more that may be on the bench able to play if required, might even make the line-up, you never know. 0-0 might be the final outcome, with neither finding the breakthrough, with wayward shooting on show.

Could be a tough game on show, with both Italian sides counter-attacking, with finishing not at their best, along with defenses and goalkeepers playing their parts, for a result of not seeing a goal in ninety minutes of play.
19:45 Fleetwood Town v Salford City

Salford City

These two clubs have only met once in a club friendly, with Fleetwood winning 4-0 back in 2018, with the game being at Salford. Expecting to see Salford City pull a win off here, as they have won their last two games and a third looks plausible.
19:45 Lincoln City v Northampton

Northampton

Northampton disposed of Crawley at home on the weekend 3-0, making this four games without defeat. They are a capable side at times that can bring their A-game to the pitch, and if doing so at LNER Stadium, Lincoln, they can come away with all three points.
19:45 Stevenage v Bolton

Bolton

Bolton have not lost to Stevenage in the four games they have met in the past, with the last being a 0-0 draw. They do look the better side, as league positions tell with Bolton in ninth and Stevenage in fifteenth place. Bolton winning here tonight could see them advancing into the playoff zone or be equal on points with the teams in this position.
19:45 Stockport v Reading

Reading

Reading have become a consistent team, winning three on the bounce, which has seen them move into the playoff zone. Confidence running through the squad can see them landing all three points against Stockport inside Edgeley Park.

Draw

Both Turkish sides have yet to lose after eight and nine games played, which could see Galatasaray being held at home with Besiktas achieving a point here.
17:00 Manisa FK v Esenler Erokspor

Draw

Esenler Erokspor are trying to come to terms with League One football after gaining promotion last season. They could be coming away from Mumin Ozkasap Stadyumu with a draw of some sort.
16:00 FC Botosani v Universitatea Cluj

Draw

Universitatea Cluj, in first place, is at Stadionul Municipal to play bottom side FC Botosani, who has not been beaten in eight games. Also, they have never scored in those matches, which include two goalless draws. They might be suffocating Universitatea Cluj's attacking play for a draw with all players behind the ball and stopping any dangerous play that could see them conceding.
16:00 Ludogorets Razgrad v CSKA 1948 Sofia

Draw

Ludogorets Razgrad hold first place and only dropped a couple of points with drawing one, winning the rest of the six games played. CSKA 1948 Sofia has settled into a good rhythm of away play, not losing in five, with the last two games being scored draws that followed two away victories without conceding. 0-0 was the start of this mini run that saw them go three games without conceding. Their away play could be counting big time in their favor to come away with a point from Huvepharma Arena.
27 October 2024
17:45 Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers

Shamrock Rovers

Dundalk are relegated with this game and one other to come. They are playing for prestige against Shamrock Rovers, who have plenty to play for with them being in third place, as they are in touching distance of first position and Champions League football next season if results go their way with Shelbourne and Derry City.
17:00 Inter Milan v Juventus

Inter Milan are a point above Juventus in second place. Juventus have won and drawn four games and not lost. This game could see many yellow cards, with fouls stopping the game from being a flowing one and any dangerous attacks halted. With them being in competitive Champions League football midweek, they may be lacking in something here today, resulting in a stalemate of 0-0.

@3.25

Win

112

Both clubs won midweek in the Champions League with the same score of 1-0, Arsenal at home and Liverpool in Germany. Arsenal need to close the gap on Liverpool, as the difference is four points. If Arsenal lose this game today, they will more than likely be kissing their chances of the title goodbye. With both teams liking to push forward, and players who can finish moves off with goals, we might see over 2.5 goals and a score draw of 2-2 resulting.
15:00 Norwich v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough has beaten Norwich the last four times with home and away play. They could be making it five, as the Canaries have drawn their last two games, which makes them vulnerable to a side who can keep a tight unit, hold their formation, and keep the passing game going a lot better. This could lead them to getting the goals that are necessary to win this game.

Chelsea were in Greece midweek, beating Panathinaikos 4-1 in the Champions League. The team could be feeling the effects of traveling and working hard to win the game. Of course, players are super fit and well-paid, and can produce outstanding play, but they are humans after all. This can see Newcastle being the fresher team, holding Chelsea to a score draw.
14:00 Crystal Palace v Tottenham

Tottenham

Last time Crystal Palace beat Tottenham was three years ago, 3-0. They are on a losing run of three, which may count to four, with Spurs' attacking display paying off for another victory over Crystal Palace for the sixth time.
14:00 West Ham v Man Utd

West Ham

The last two times Manchester United have come to London and met West Ham inside London Stadium, they have lost 2-0 and 1-0. Manchester United will be missing Maguire, Antony, Mainoo, and Yara, with the possibility of not seeing Malacia, Mount, and Shaw. Understandably, they have other internationals to come upon, but it does affect their play, which could see them coming up short here with the Hammers winning. That can see them leapfrogging Manchester United in the league by a point.

Cannot get a handle on Fulham. One minute they combine together and produce a winning performance that saw them beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 away, and at home beating Newcastle United 3-1. Then they go and lose to Manchester City 3-2 away and at home against Aston Villa 3-1. Fair enough, two powerful sides, but they do lose their shape, which could see them coming undone at Goodison Park, with Everton making it five games without defeat, seeing them winning their third game, with the other two being draws. They beat Ipswich Town at Portland Road, winning the first half and contained The Tractor Boys in the second half. They may be making it a third game without conceding, as they drew 0-0 against Newcastle before their win. A win for the Toffees would see them equal Fulham on eleven points.

Aston Villa were hot against Bologna when winning 2-0, but at times, they did look vulnerable in defending. Their movement of the ball going forward was first class. Villa take on Bournemouth, who will be on a high after beating Arsenal 2-0 at home last weekend. Having a week off can see them being fresh and can be a force that can see them holding Aston Villa, with a score draw resulting. Fatigue can appear at times, especially with playing a stronger midweek game. Understandably, clubs have big squads, and changing players can affect the flow of play.

15:00 Brentford v Ipswich

Brentford

Brentford went a goal up against Manchester United last week, where they scored at the best time, bang on half-time. But they could not sustain the control, conceding two minutes into the second half, then lost another goal, to lose 2-1. They take on Ipswich Town, who are trying to sustain themselves in the Premiership, with their first season here. This will take time, to manage to play the Premiership way, which can see them losing games, conceding goals, which means they may come away from Brentford Community Stadium with nothing. Brentford do play with players that can last ninety minutes with fitness and also move the ball with certainty, leading to a winning result.

15:00 Brighton v Wolverhampton

Brighton

Brighton will be hoping Danny Welbeck will be fit and well to grace the pitch, with the chance of making it three games with goals and helping The Seagulls to victory over Wolves, who could be sent packing from Amex Stadium. Wolves are at the bottom of the league with one point. What is not helping is the long injury list, standing at six, and defender Meupiyou might also be missing. A home win for Brighton could see them move into third place with Arsenal playing on Sunday along with Manchester United. Aston Villa plays later in the afternoon against Bournemouth, who may come up short with playing in the Champions League midweek, with fatigue possibly appearing.

15:00 Man City v Southampton

Man City

Southampton have the calibre of players to threaten Manchester City, but they have an issue with picking up players with marking. That allows any advantage of play to break down and concede goals, which would be very costly taking on Manchester City's capabilities, with the likes of Haaland and Foden, to name two, that can strike home with goals. If Manchester City win today, which they should, they will put themselves in first place by two points, as Liverpool do not play until tomorrow when they take on Arsenal at The Emirates.

Sunderland

Oxford United have drawn their last five games. The U's seem to stifle the room out by not giving their opponents the room to find a winning result. Being in the Stadium of Light, taking on The Black Cats, may see them folding with striker Romaine Mundle scoring for a second time and helping Sunderland to win this home match. What I find strange is that Keith Donoghue, who normally rides, is riding for Gordon Elliott on Beacan Edge. But this five-year-old, Al Namix French-sired gelding, could be making an impact in this handicap with it being his first run in this sphere. A 136 rating could be making his mark with this.

Not been that impressed with Leicester City, even though they made my day, coming from two goals down to beat Southampton 3-2 at St Mary's. Nottingham Forest do grind away at their game. They beat Crystal Palace last week at home 1-0 and drew at Chelsea 1-1, with them taking the lead through one goal a game New Zealander Chris Wood. 20:00 Portsmouth v Sheff Wed

Portsmouth

Portsmouth have five players missing, Bishop, Bowat, Ferreli, Norris and Shaughnessey, with Sheffield Wednesday having Chalobah and Hamer missing. Portsmouth have not beaten Sheffield Wednesday in five games, with two draws, 0-0 and 3-3. Now, with both in the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday winning three and drawing three of their eleven games played in a better position than Portsmouth who are bottom with one win and five draws. The victory came at Loftus Roda beating QPR 2-1. which was before they went to Cardiff City and lost 2-0. Being a friday night, Fratton Park could be full to capacity, which can act well for Pompey as twelfieth man to try and over power The Owls and win this game, that can lift themselves out of thid dire position before the full Championship fixtures place tomorrow. Could be seeing over 2.5 goals, with Pompey coming out on top with 2-1, be brilliant if they can win with more, but a win is a must especeilly at home.
19:45 Galway United v Sligo Rovers

Galway United

Galway United have a slim chance of making third place if Shamrock Rovers and St Patricks come up short with their games remaining. Beating Sligo Rovers at home tonight could make the last game against Bohemians away a real tester for them. First, they have to win tonight, which they may do with over 2.5 goals on show, with Sligo Rovers keeping Galway United on their toes with a goal.
19:45 Shelbourne v Drogheda United

Shelbourne

Shelbourne at home tonight can achieve a win that could secure them as league champions with one game to come, if Derry City slip up at St Patricks. If Derry City wins, the title will go to the last game, with two points being the difference. Drogheda United is in the relegation zone, which sees them relegated as they are seven points away from safety with this game and another to play. They could make things difficult for Shelbourne for a while, before they put their seal on the game with a couple of goals.
19:45 St Patricks Athletic v Derry City

Derry City

The head-to-head count is unbelievable, with St Patricks winning four and the rest practically won by Derry City, with a few draws in the mix. Derry City holds second place, two points above fourth place St Patricks, which can see this game as a hot contest with one more game to come. This position of second and third place is a qualification for Conference League football next season. Reaching first place means Champions League qualification. With Shelbourne at home tonight, they are more than likely to gain the three points to stay two points clear. Derry City might be containing St Patricks and hitting them on the break and winning this game with both scoring. That sees over 2.5 goals with a 2-1 result.
