This went into loads of notebooks when 3rd in the Wood Ditton behind First Conquest and Lead Artist, who both have now won group races. He obviously has had problems as he has not run since. In fact, he's been off for 326 days, but if he has retained his ability, he will win this.

On ride numbers, you could suggest that Tristan Durrell is the number two for Dan Skelton. With no Harry here, you could argue that this is the best of his three. Being out of Milan, whose offspring go well here, this looks a big price. Though in time, it will need beyond this 2m.

To be honest, I was hoping for a bigger price for Dingle considering his recent form and the opposition being younger and open to improvement. But the return to Kempton, where he has a first and second to his name nearly two years ago, might be enough to teach the youngsters a lesson.
