Bought from the Joseph O'Brien yard in Ireland, Turn and Finish has raced against then stablemate Putyourhandstogether twice, getting the better of him at Punchestown in November. He had his first outing for this stable at Musselburgh, winning at short odds. There have been some large-priced winners of this over the years, and this young upcoming yard may have acquired a useful representative.

HMS President was fairly useful on the flat for trainer Alan King. He was a close runner-up at Huntingdon behind Lauren's Bay last time. Lauren's Bay was the winner of a top novice race at Sandown yesterday, and the third in that Huntingdon race has also gone close since. St Pancras is the current favorite and also has form in the book. The suspicion is HMS President will be better than this grade as he can take a step towards that today.

The handicapper has left him on the same rating, and his trainer has taken this race in the past.

The likely fast-paced Imperial Cup is one of my favorite races of the National Hunt calendar. A large field going hard over hurdles. To Chase a Dream returned in October and completed a hat trick started the earlier spring. He hasn't finished out of the frame this season in four runs. Unable to get the better of Classic King last time at Doncaster, he drops back in distance today with stamina proven. Brian Hughes is booked to ride for this smaller yard with this horse looking like a flag bearer for them, and he's an interesting runner.

Third behind Belliano at Ascot off level weights, Not So Woolly followed that run with a second at Taunton behind another promising Nicholls newcomer, Go West. This Kayf Tara gelding receives seven pounds from Belliano today and could be worth some value to run his race and be competitive.
