I don't normally like betting the overs or under a in baseball... it only takes one poor spell of 10 or so pitches and the games a blow out... tonight however the statistics and history is all pointing to a low scoring affair. The total here seems a tad high. Last night saw only 6 runs scored .only 2 of the Os last 10 games have gone over the total set with the last 5 home games not beating the overs and combined with the Dbacks low scoring (3-7 of their last 10 has gone over) points to a low scoring match. Take the unders here.

The Cubs took the opening game of the series last night 7-2 and looked a superior side. Tonight the Pirates are favourites again and there is excellent value in backing the underdogs tonight .the Pirates are 3-7 in the last 10 and 3-4 in their last 7 at home.  Series losses to the angels and Oakland don't give me much hope that they can offer much fight tonight. The rubber is with the cubs who are 16-4 SU in their last 20 against the Pirates.

Odds here for the Phillies is too good to turn down. THE marlins are terrible and lost the opening game of the series last night and I expect this to continue tonight. The Phillies are 8-3 SU in their last 10 and 3-1 in their last 4 away. They face the Marlins struggling to find any form except for at home where they are 3-1 SU in the last 4. Excellent value here for the Astros in a purple patch of form. Two excellent pitchers starting on the mound for both teams so I'm expecting a much closer match tonight but I'll go with the Astros riding a bit more of a confidence wave and the Tigers are 3-7 in their last 10

Good value tonight on the Royals to win this game having taken the first two games of the series. Last nights game was close but the Royals held on. The As are a hit and Miss side. Admittedly they have been much better than I expected this year however the Mariners had way too much for them last night on an 8-1 victory which should be repeated again tonight. The Mariners have miller on the mound whose been steady this year up against Estes for the As in his first start.
