Paggane, a flat winner in France, won two hurdle races last year. Switching to fences, she put up a decent performance the first time in a Grade 2 chase at Limerick, finishing second behind Bioluminescence, where she warmed to her jumping after a slow jump at the first.

He was coming off a break of 266 days when switching to fences in his first chase at Limerick last time and was in the lead going best when falling two out. This is a slightly better race, but he should go well with a clear round.

Zwicky enjoys running at Sedgefield, with three of his four wins coming here: two hurdles and a chase. All his wins are around two and a half miles, but he can stay this marathon distance. He has a lower mark over hurdles than fences and has two second places in chases here over a similar distance this season.

Juvenile hurdler Puturhandstogether still lacks experience as a hurdler but jumped much better in his second race when winning a 20-runner maiden hurdle at Cork from his more fancied stablemate Turn And Finish. That was on soft going, and he could follow up on similar going as main rival Ballysax Hank, who is running for the first time since switching to Gavin Cromwell, has previously been scratched from running on soft going, so sustained support for him is puzzling.

Tom Creen made all here to win a chase over two miles three and a half furlongs last time. That was his fifth chase win, all at Sedgefield. He has never run over the minimum distance in a chase, but as a frontrunner, it should not be a problem for him.
