Judd Trump has had a fine season and looks primed to set up a huge semi final against Ronnie O'Sullivan. He overcame a tricky first round match against Hossein Vafaei to win 10-5 and then breezed past Tom Ford 13-7. Jak Jones withstood the challenge from Si Jiahui to win 13-9 but may struggle to keep up with the relentless Trump

Jak Jones has had a great run in Sheffield but Trump has looked a class apart for most of this season and Jones is unlikely to get close

Ronnie O'Sullivan is going for a record 8th World title but at 9/4 his price looks too short despite his good recent form. Judd Trump is the obvious next best and rates a strong bet at 4/1. He will be eager to make amends for last year in which he was knocked out in the first round. He won the title in 2019 and has enjoyed a stellar year in which he has won 5 ranking titles (English Open, Wuhan,Northern Ireland Open, German Masters and World Open).
