Golf is my game, and my tips can, at times, pay dividends . I'm no expert regarding horse racing, but I'm improving due to following some of the OLBG members here who seem better than the pros. Football, rugby, snooker, tennis and some American sports are others I take an interest in.

2nd May 2024
18:00 Jak Jones v Stuart Bingham

Stuart Bingham

Win Match

50 WIN

Jak Jones has had a brilliant run in the Championship with his 13-9 win over pre-tournament favourite Judd Trump showing he has a great chance to make the final. Stuart Bingham has certainly had a lean couple of seasons, but since qualifying for the Crucible, he's been exceptional and no surprise Ronnie O'Sullivan couldn't handle him. Bingham looks fated to win the whole thing.
20:10 The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

Jordan Spieth

1st Round Leader

50 WIN

Jordan Spieth can be either brilliant or not. His golf over the past couple of seasons has been erratic, but with 13 PGA Tour wins, Spieth can search for his perfect game all he wants. I fancy he'll find his best at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and with most of the top players not contesting this week, I'LL take Spieth to finish in front after day 1.
3rd May 2024
09:15 LIV Golf Invitational Singapore

Jon Rahm

200 WIN

It was a shock to see Jon Rahm joining the LIV Tour, but I reckon LIV players can expect a good run this week from the Spanish golfer who has gone close on several occasions having joined the tour late 2023. I fancy Rahm to win tour win in Singapore this week.
5th May 2024
08:15 Volvo China Open

Haotong Li

50 WIN

It was eight years ago Haotong Li picked up his maiden DP World Tour tournament at the China Open. He's gone on to win two other prestigious tournament successes at the Dubai Desert Classic in. 2018 and BMW International in 2022. I'll take Li to win playing in front of his home supporters at this week's Volvo China Open.

Matteo Manassero

25 EW

Having won tournaments in each of his first four seasons on tour, Italy's Matteo Manassero was touted as a young golfer who could follow in the footsteps of Ballesteros, but as it turned out, Manassero wouldn't win another DP World Tour event for another ten years when adding the Jonsson Workwear Open in South Africa in March. Manassero has worked hard to get his game back, so I'll take him to strongly challenge at this week's Volvo China Open.

Yannik Paul

25 EW

Yannik Paul always seems to be there at the business end of tournaments these days. The German's game has vastly improved, and having just on DP Tour win at the Mallorca Golf Open in 2022, I expect a lot more gold will come this player's way. He should secure a top 7 n China this week.
21:45 The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

Jordan Spieth

50 WIN

I expect great things this week from Jordan Spieth who is the top ranked player competing at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. With an impressive 13 PGA Tour wins under his belt, it's time for the American to shine again especially with the elite players missing.

Stephan Jaeger

25 EW

One golfer whose name is appearing more often at the business end of tournaments is Stephan Jaeger. The German picked up his maiden PGA tournament victory at the Texas Children's Houston Open in March, so I wont be surprised to see Jaeger in strong contention at the CJ Cup.

Tom Kim

25 EW

This season Tom Kim has been searching for the form he produced over the last couple of seasons that saw the South Korean win three titles. Recent form has looked positive finishing T-30 at the Masters and T-18 at RBC Heritage. Surely Kim finishes top 8 this week.

Jordan Spieth

Top American

50 WIN

While his form can be erratic, there's little doubt Jordan Spieth's game is almost back on track. With 13 PGA Tour wins, the American has to go c;lose at THE CJ Cup Byron Nelson, especially with most of the elites not taking part.Spieth for a 14th career victory.
