Horseracing fan for many years now, although real life intrudes much too often for my liking nowadays. National Hunt racing is my main area of interest, but I don't get too tribal about all that and love the big festivals on the flat as well... occasionally successful punter... chronic seconditis sufferer. Nottingham Forest fan, although football generally bores me lately. I am much more likely to watch NFL than football now, something which I could not have even conceived a couple of years past. Growing up with a Welsh father, rugby was the only sport to watch as a kid and as a result I'm in the strange position of being a Welsh fan in Rugby Union and English for everything else... no excuses made on that score.
