The Tanked slot comes with 14 bonus features. Yes, you read that right. Using a new xLoot mechanic, warlords collect symbols of the same colour as well as wilds if on the same path. There are several special symbols to look out for which increase the multiplier, expand the grid size and remove payout symbols and other warlords for explosive results. There are also 3 free spins features to play.
Multipliers
On the grid, you will see Ammo Box Multiplier symbols which have different values (up to 1,000x). They can be picked up by any warlord and applied to all wins. With the multiplier multiplying the warlord’s payout, multipliers are additive if more than 1 is picked up.
Tank Boosters
On the grid, you will come across 4 different types of Tank Boosters that can be picked up by warlords (Rocket, Grenade, Power Drill and Airstrike):
- Rocket: The warlord will shoot the wall close to any random enemy warlord with the explosion removing all enemy warlords and payout symbols in the explosion pattern as shown on screen. This increases the size of the grid by 1.
- Grenade: The warlord will throw the grenade targeting any random enemy warlord. The explosion removes all paying symbols in the explosion pattern as shown on screen.
- Power Drill: The warlord with a Power Drill drives to the largest cluster on the grid that matches the warlord’s colour. Removing all enemy warlords, payout symbols and Wilds in its path, it picks up Tank Boosters, Barrel Bomb and Max Win symbols. If the warlord in the Power Drill can’t move, the warlord explodes with the explosion removing all paying symbols in the explosion pattern.
- Airstrike: The warlord hits up to 3 enemy warlords which creates an explosion in the explosion pattern as shown on screen.
If any warlord is removed by any of the above Tank Boosters, it loses a life and reappears on the reels when new symbols drop in. If the impacted enemy warlord character collected a Tank Booster before the explosion, it keeps it in the next drop. Explosions do not impact Beer Bonus, xSplit, xNudge Wild and Wild symbols.
Finally, the warlord carries the Tank Booster until there is no additional movement on the grid. At that time, the warlord uses 1 Tank Booster.
xBomb & Barrel Bomb
On the grid, there are xBomb and Barrel Bomb symbols. They only explode if there is no warlord movement and no Tank Boosters are available. Here is what their functions are:
- xBomb: Removes all paying symbols in the explosion pattern and increases the overall multiplier by 1.
- Barrel Bomb: Removes all paying symbols in the explosion pattern and expands the grid vertically or horizontally by 1 step.
Booms
When 3 warlords are next to each other and no warlord can move, a Small Boom occurs. The warlords explode and remove all paying symbols and warlords in the explosion pattern.
A Big Boom occurs when 4 warlords are next to each other and no warlord can move. The warlords explode and remove all paying symbols on the grid as well as increasing the size of the grid by 1 step.
Kill Count
When a warlord is in an explosion pattern of any Tank Booster, xBomb, Barrel Bomb or a Boom, they lose a life. When a warlord loses 3 lives, it is killed which sees the warlord removed from the grid along with the corresponding symbols. The warlord is then resurrected after the next evaluation.
xNudge Wild & xSplit
The xNudge Wild symbol nudges down to the bottom position of the grid or until it hits a non-paying symbol. If there is a multiplier when the xNudge Wild lands, it sets the multiplier to 2x. With every nudge, the multiplier increases by 1. If an extra xNudge Wild symbol appears, a +1 multiplier is added.
Tanked also comes with an xSplit symbol which splits all paying symbols horizontally or vertically. This doubles this sizes and converts itself into a Wild symbol. Furthermore, it doubles the value of any multiplier that is split.
Grid Expansion & Max Expansion
In the Tanked slot, the grid expands by 1 step if a Rocket hits the wall, a Barrel Bomb is self-triggered or a Big Boom occurs. With the grid expanding from 6x6 to 9x9, this can happen if 4 different steps if there is a horizontal or vertical expansion respectively:

However, the grid expands to the maximum 9x9 size if an xBomb or Barrel Bomb symbols are in the explosion pattern of any Tank Booster.
Carnage Spins & Carnage Royale
When 3 Beer Bonus symbols land, the Carnage Spins feature is triggered with 5 free spins. Multipliers, Kill Count and the current grid size are carried over from the base game when you triggered the feature.
If you land 4 Beer Bonus symbols, you will play the Carnage Royal feature with 7 free spins. With the Kill Count carried over from the base game, you will play on a 9x9 grid and a +5x multiplier on top of the current multiplier from the base game. When a Beer Bonus symbol lands, 1 extra free spin is awarded.
Mayhem Spins
The Mayhem Spins feature is triggered when all warlords lose their 3 lives and die in the same explosion in either free spins feature above. Your chances are 1 in 5,300 base game spins.
Played on a 9x9 grid with a +10x multiplier on top of the current multiplier from the base game, all character lives are set to 1. If all warlords die in the same explosion, you will retrigger the feature with 1 extra free spin and a +10x multiplier. Like in the above features, every Beer Bonus symbol gives you 1 more free spin, with no limits.
Nolimit Booster
Tanked comes with 2 Nolimit Booster options. Below are all the details including the cost and RTP rate (for the highest RTP setting):
- xBet: Costing 3 times your total bet, you are 4 times more likely to trigger the bonus features. The RTP is 96.04%.
- 4 Tank Boosters: Costing 40 times your total bet, 4 random Tank Boosters are randomly distributed to warlords. The RTP rate is 95.98%.
Nolimit Bonus
Finally, there is a Nolimit Bonus feature for non-UK players. With 4 options, below is a table highlighting all the details:
