Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior comes with 7 bonus features. The first step is to choose a character to play with which does battle against a random opponent. Wins can be formed with Victory and Defeat symbols which impacts the character’s Health Points. With Avalanches to help form successive wins, wins with high-value symbols trigger each character’s Wild Combo feature where wilds are added to the grid. If you lose your battle, you will smash the car for cash prizes whilst winning will see you play the Beat the Boss Free Spins. Defeating your opponent will see you move through the levels and benefit from an increasing multiplier up to 10x.
Battles
Before you start playing Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior, you need to choose from the 8 characters on the Player Select screen. The RTP rate also varies by character. Awarding fewer to more wins, a random opponent is chosen to battle your chosen character.
Each character and opponent comes with Victory and Defeat symbols. These appear as single or 2x2 Colossal symbols. When a winning cluster includes either of these symbols, the character’s symbols deal damage to the opponent while the opponent’s symbols deal damage to the character.
Health Points
Damage is displayed on the Health Points bar. When the character’s or opponent’s Health Points total reaches zero, they lose the battle. The number of Health Points lost is equal to the number of Victory or Defeat symbols in winning clusters.
Avalanche
When a winning cluster is formed, the Avalanche feature is triggered. Winning symbols are removed from the grid with the remaining symbols falling into the empty positions. New symbols then drop in to fill the grid. If new winning clusters are formed, the process repeats itself until no more new wins are on the grid.
Wild Gauge & Wild Combos
In the base game and Beat the Boss Free Spins feature, your chosen character comes with a Wild Gauge that resets between each spin. The Wild Gauge is filled by 1 point for each high-value symbol that is part of a winning cluster.
When no more winning clusters appear on the grid and there are 7 or more points in the Wild Gauge, your character will use their own Wild Combo feature that randomly places wild symbols on the grid. Below, you’ll find the RTP and Wild Combo feature description for each character:
Car Smash Bonus Game
If your chosen character loses his battle against the opponent (with the character’s Health Points tally reaching zero), the Car Smash Bonus Game feature will triggered.
You then manually smash a car like in the video game. There is a ‘Quick Finish’ button option too. If you manage to smash the car, you’ll win a cash prize of between 5 and 15 times your total bet. You can then carry on playing with the same character or choose another for a new battle.
Beat the Boss Free Spins
When your chosen character wins their battle against the opponent (by reducing the opponent’s Health Points tally to zero), you will activate the Beat the Boss Free Spins feature.
With 4 levels, each level has its own opponent and level multiplier. Beginning at level 1 with a 2x multiplier, your character fights a different opponent on every level with the level multiplier increasing with each victory.
Winning clusters are subject to the level multiplier on each level. Defeating the opponent will move you to the next level where the level multiplier increases and the opponent changes. Below are the details:
With no set number of free spins, the feature continues until one of the characters is defeated. If you manage to finish the feature undefeated (by defeating Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M. Bison), an additional prize of 100 times your total bet will be awarded.
Insert Coin Gamble
Finally, losing your battle in 1 of the levels in the Beat the Boss Free Spins feature will allow you to use the Insert Coin Gamble feature.
If you decide to do so, you will sacrifice a portion of your winnings from the feature in exchange with the Health Points tally of both characters at 25 instead of 75. This allows you to restart the current level in the Beat the Boss Free Spins feature. If you decide to use the Insert Coin Gamble feature, the RTP rate increases between 98.7% and 100%.
