When the Hand of Surtur scatter lands, it creates the Portal - where you peek into boiling hot Muspelheim - by ripping downward and destroying any Wild in its path. Wild Portals expand if they are part of at least one winning combination. If a Wild is destroyed by the expanding Portal, a multiplier is applied to the whole Portal, which ranges between 2x and 200x. If a winning line passes through more than one Portal, their multiplier values are added together before being applied to the win. 

Treasure Chest

If a Treasure Chest symbol is destroyed by the expanding Portal ripping downward, as explained above, a bonus cash prize is awarded based on your bet. The possible prizes range between 5 and 2500 x the bet. If both a Wild and a Treasure Chest are part of the same expanding Portal, the multiplier from the Wild will also be applied to the cash prize from the Treasure Chest. 

Surtur’s Vengeance

Landing 3 or more Surtur symbols triggers this feature. 3 Surtur symbols award 10 free spins; 4 Surtur symbols award 12 free spins and 5 Surtur symbols award 14 free spins, respectively. Any Wilds that were in view when the bonus was activated are carried over from the base game into the bonus and then stick, counting as the sticky Wild for the reel that they’re on.

 Instead of the Hand of Surtur, Portals in this bonus game are triggered by the Frost Sword symbol. If you trigger the Portal to Midgard, an icy sword slices downward to the bottom of the reel, breaking any Treasure Chests and wilds.

This feature can also give you a Portal Multiplier up to 200x and a Treasure Chest prize up to 2,500 x bet. These can combine as in the Treasure Chests feature.

Warriors of the Storm

If you land 3 or more Viking symbols you trigger this feature, awarding you 10 free spins. Landing 4 Viking symbols award 12 free spins 5 Viking symbols award 14 free spins, respectively. When the Hammer of Thor symbol lands on a reel, it will create a Storm Reel that expands and takes over the whole reel. Storm Reels are always wild, and once created, stay for the duration of the feature.

On every spin, each Storm Reel will either reveal a Viking Warrior of one of the three types below, or be filled with a raging storm. The Viking Warriors give a multiplier to the Storm Reel where they appear, which affect all winning lines that pass through the Reel. If a winning line passes through more than one Storm Reel, the multipliers will be added together before being applied to the win.

• Shieldmaiden Warrior:  6x, 7x, 8x, 9x or 10x multiplier

When the storm appears in a Storm Reel, it prevents a Viking Warrior from appearing in that Storm Reel on the current spin. When the storm fades at the beginning of the next spin, the reel where it appeared is pushed one step to the left. If there is another Storm Reel immediately to the left of the one being pushed, that one is also pushed, which can in turn push another immediately adjacent Storm Reel to its left, and so and so forth. The Storm Reels will not move if there is no empty space to the left into which they can be pushed. 

Finally, the landing of any additional  Viking symbols will award you with extra free spins. 2, 3, 4 or 5 Viking symbols will give you 2, 4, 6 or 8 additional free spins.
