Jackpot Wheel

On the character symbols, gems can appear. These character gems are collected at the end of each spin when they appear on the reels. In essence, they increase the corresponding character jackpot which are awarded in the Jackpot Wheel feature. Below is what each of the character jackpots are worth:

Wild Multipliers

Wild symbols that contribute to winning combinations in the base game and the Amber Free Spins feature can apply a multiplier. The multiplier increases per roll up to a maximum of 6x in the base game and applies to any winning combination involving the Wild Multiplier.

Furthermore, Multiplier Wilds lock in position during the rolls and are removed at the beginning of each new spin. These Locking Multiplier Wilds will not appear on reel 1 in the base game and in the Michael or Sarah Free Spins features. They do appear on reel 3 in the Troy Free Spins feature though.

With Amber, Michael, Sarah and Troy reuniting more than 12 years after the original game was released, the graphics are similar even though the sequel has been meticulously crafted with high-definition visuals. Immortal Romance 2 provides a more immersive experience with the introduction of the Bloodline Bar. The more you play, the more music tracks and skins/backgrounds you’ll unlock.

When it comes to bonus features, you have Rolling Reels which give you continuous wins. With 15,000 x bet max wins available, the Immortal Romance 2 slot game offers bigger potential payouts than the original (12,150 x bet). It’s not much more but it’s an improvement. The RTP rate of 96.3% is much lower than the 96.86% offered in the first outing.

In my opinion, the visuals and soundtrack are excellent. With regards to the bonus features, many of them are present in the original slot with Stormcraft Studios adding a few more. Are these game-changing though? I don’t think so as they don’t offer anything innovative or unique.

Whilst it would have been ideal for Immortal Romance 2 to introduce brand-new bonus features, I get why they’ve stuck to a rather safe formula with this sequel. It will please fans of the original cult phenomenon but might alienate hardcore slot players who are looking for something new.
