Tumble

If another win is formed (8+ matching symbols), the process is repeated. Tumbles continue until no new wins are created.

Multiplier

In both the base game and free spins, Orb Multiplier symbols can land randomly. They will contain a random multiplier value ranging from 2x to 500x. When a tumble sequence ends, the values of all Orb Multiplier symbols are combined (added together) and applied to the total win.

Super Scatter

Where Gates of Olympus Super Scatter differs from its predecessors is the addition of the Super Scatter symbol which can appear anywhere on the gird. Combinations of 4 or more Zeus Scatter or Super Scatter symbols (including at least 1 Super Scatter) will award the following payouts:

• 4 Super Scatters in combinations of 4 or more Scatters of any kind = 50,000 x bet

Free Spins

When 4 or more Zeus Scatter symbols land anywhere on the grid, you’ll trigger the Free Spins feature with 15 free spins. Whenever an Orb Multiplier symbol lands and you get a win, the multiplier value is added to the total multiplier.

This can only grow during the feature as it doesn’t reset. Also, 3 or more Zeus Scatters will result in 5 additional free spins, with no limits. Finally, Super Scatter symbols don’t appear during the free spins. The total you can win from the feature is 50,000 times your total bet.

Ante Bet 

To increase your chances of landing Zeus or Super Scatter symbols, there is an optional Ante Bet feature. Visually, the game is the same as its predecessors. The gameplay is identical with tumbles, orb multiplier symbols and free spins with an increasing win multiplier. This will surely please fans of the original game.

With the same high 96.5% RTP rate, the only difference is the Super Scatter symbol which, when 1 or more land in combinations of 4 scatters of any kind, can pay up to 50,000 times your total bet. Interestingly, the max win in the Free Spins feature is 50,000 times your total bet which is significantly higher than the 5,000 x bet offered in the first outing.

Yes, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is a simple game but offering 10 times the win potential of the first slot is surely going to raise some eyebrows and turn heads. Like with Big Bass Bonanza 1000, I would have hoped Pragmatic Play changed the gameplay more and included more innovative bonus features.
