Cleopatra 2 Slot (IGT)

The Cleopatra 2 slot is played on 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are created when you land 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, beginning from the leftmost reel and across any of the 20 paylines. With only 1 payout awarded per payline, you can land a win with 2 or more Cleo 2 Wilds.

You can spin away from as little as 20p per spin. IGT has set the maximum bet up to £2,000 a spin but it will be limited to £50 to £100 per spin at most slot sites. To change your bet, use the plus or minus buttons in the Total Bet section. With no Turbo Mode, there is an Auto Spin function which allows 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 auto spins as well as loss and single win limits. The latter only applies to players located outside the UK.

The Cleopatra 2 RTP rate is 95.88% which is just below the online slot average of around 96%. 61.59% will come in the base game with 34.29% in the free spins. Being a land-based game, the RTP is pretty high though (normally around the 94-95% mark).

Despite being a land-based favourite, IGT’s Cleopatra 2 was created using HTML5 technology. Available to play on desktop, mobile and tablet devices, laptop or PC devices will use a 16:9 resolution whilst playing in portrait mode (on iOS and Android smartphones) will use a 9:16 ratio.  

The Cleopatra 2 slot has 2 bonus features. When the Cleo 2 Wild is part of a win, it doubles the payout. In the Free Spins Bonus feature, you can play with up to 50 free spins. With each free spin, the multiplier increases by 1, up to 50x.

2x Wilds

When 1 or more Cleo 2 Wild symbols are part of a winning combination in either the base game or free spins, the win is doubled. Known as the 2x Wilds feature, this doesn’t apply to wins containing only Cleo 2 Wild wins.

Free Spins Bonus

Cleopatra 2 focuses on the Free Spins Bonus feature. It’s activated when 3 or more Sphinx Scatter symbols appear anywhere during a base game spin. 3, 4 or 5 scatters will result in 3, 10 or 2,600 times bet payout.

You then choose from the 3 options to reveal the number of free spins awarded. The number of free spins will depend on how many Sphinx Scatters you triggered the feature with:

Beginning with a 1x multiplier, every free spin will see the multiplier increase by 1. Triggering the feature with 5 Sphinx Scatters can result in 20 free spins. On your 20^th free spin for example, you’d benefit from a 20x multiplier.

Furthermore, 3 or more Sphinx Scatters will retrigger the feature. The number of free spins will be equal to the number of initial free spins. You can retrigger several times with up to 50 free spins possible in total.

Every free spin can result in a 1,000 times bet maximum win. If you were to apply a 50x multiplier from the 50^th free spin, 50,000 times your total bet can be won.

The 2x Wilds feature is also in play during the free spins meaning double wins when part of a winning combination. However, a win with just Cleo 2 Wilds won’t be subject to the 2x multiplier. That said, a win including Cleo 2 Wilds will see the free spin multiplier apply.

With the original game being so popular worldwide, the Cleopatra 2 slot had a lot to live up to. Also available in land-based casinos, the sequel is often discarded and forgotten about as the first outing is so iconic.

The graphics and soundtrack are virtually the same but the gameplay has been tweaked considerably. With double wilds available, the Cleo 2 Wild is valuable in its own right awarding 2,500 times bet payouts for 5 across a payline.
