100 Spin Test

This 100 Spin test was updated by Steve Madgwick on 18/10/2023

100 spins is not a Real Test

We give every slot a 100 spin test to see just what it can do, or not as the case can often be - 100 spins is no reflection of the likelihood of any other 100-spin session, as RTP's are set over many millions and probably billions of spins. So this 100 spin test is just for entertainment and insight purposes

Test Comments

Just 17 winning spins from 100 sound low, but is in fact a medium rate of spins returning something at least and on average over the test each winning spins was worth around 3.85x

The session 65.60% RTP was helped by an epic drop feature which can trigger at any time dropping in a handy 30x win

To be honest very little else happened with just one bonus bait in this session, but if you are familiar with Hacksaw and the previous ieteration of Chaos Crew you will already know this game either hits or not, and something in the middle is a rare occurrence.

Game Data

Wow, Hacksaw Gaming are on fire at the moment. A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed one of the most beautiful slot games I’ve ever seen - the delightful Densho. This week, it’s the long-awaited Chaos Crew 2 which is also a superb-looking slot. Fans of the original will be over the moon to play this fun sequel and if you’re new to the chaos this review will reveal all.

As well as the updates to the game already mentioned, there’s a great feature entitled the Epic Drop in the base game. This triggers randomly and gives a single bonus game spin where a minimum of 5 multiplier symbols appear on the reels.

During this in-depth Chaos Crew 2 review you’ll be able to read about every detail of this highly-anticipated slot game. Let's get stuck into the havoc!

Graphics, Music, and Sound Effects

Opening up the game, you get transported to a dark, industrial, underground graffiti scene. The setting is illuminated by the blazing neon colours on the reels where you’ll spot lots of vivid turquoise, lilacs and lime greens.

The music starts off with a piano melody for the base game where a dance beat eventually kicks in. You’ll hear an increase in the tempo during the bonus rounds to match the speed of the game.

Sound effects are made up of a mixed bag of noises. You'll hear beeps, a record being scratched, and Sketchy spraying his graffiti tag with a spray can. Wind rustling around underground, reels falling into place, multipliers being collected and the sound (and sight) of the screen glitching.

Key Features

I’ve now told you about the summary, intro, graphics, music, and sound effects, next up are the key game features. This will help you decide if Chaos Crew 2 is worth a spin or not.

At OLBG we write slot games reviews which include up-to-date info about essential slot features such as themes, paylines, bet range and bonuses. I’ll also tell you my first impressions and expert verdict so don't go anywhere.

Theme – Graffiti

A menacing-looking Cranky and Sketchy make more of an appearance in this game and they stand, ready to attack next to the reels in the base game. They definitely don't look like the kind of guys you want to bump into down a dark alley. Cranky the cat smashes his baseball bat on the floor. Sketchy is dressed as the Grim Reaper complete with a scary scythe - you get the picture - they’re not huggers.

The contrast of the desolate black background is a striking contrast to the vivid reel imagery. It’s like an explosion has taken place in a 1980s neon-paint factory. The highest-value symbol on the reel imagery is a heart. Next up, is a green smiley face, blue angel wings, a red ‘A’ symbol for anarchism, an 8 ball, two dice, a purple smiley face, diamonds and a pyramid.

Reels

For the Chaos Crew 2 game you’ll play on a traditional grid setup of 5 reels and 5 rows.

Paylines

Landing winning combos is possible on 19 paylines, they are non-adjustable paylines.

RTP

Return to Player or RTP as it’s commonly known is a way of predicting how much of a players’ stakes will be returned to them. This figure is usually somewhere between 94% and 96%, I’d expect to see around 96% nowadays. The Chaos Crew 2 game slightly exceeds this amount at 96.27%.

Hacksaw Gaming offer four different RTP rates to the operators they work with starting at 88.28% and going up to the 96.27% already mentioned. Therefore, it’s worth shopping around to see which rates you can find at the various slots sites. But don't fear, we’ve saved you some time and listed a few of the RTP rates at some of the top UK online casinos and added these to our table below.

It’s worth mentioning that RTP is only one factor when deciding where to play. You should also look at payment options, game library, customer support and welcome bonuses and deals. If you visit our casino reviews you can read about these factors plus many more.

Stake Range

There’s a wide betting range for the Chaos Crew 2 game which starts at £0.10 and goes up to £100.

Max Win

Hacksaw Gaming is offering its largest max win amount to date. This stands at 20,000x your stake when playing this game.

Wild Symbol

The Wild Symbol is represented by Cranky the frenzied feline. It’s a wild multiplier that multiplies any win it is part of. More than one Cranky Cat can land to be part of the same win or on different ones. When more than one Cranky Cat is part of a win, the values multiply together before being used. The Cranky Cat multiplier values range from  x2 - x20. Cranky Cat substitutes for all paying symbols.

Free Spins

There are 4 free spins bonus rounds available - Bonus, Super Bonus, Best of Bonus and Best of Super Bonus.

Bonus

The round is triggered by landing 3 Scatters. Here Regular, Sticky, Epic, and Epic Sticky versions of both Cranky and Sketchy may land. The round begins with 3 refilling lives, which reset back to zero for every special symbol that lands. If you lose all your lives, your payout is then determined by totting up the values on top of each reel and applying the sum to your stake. The multiplier symbols include various symbols that relate to Cranky and Sketchy which add multipliers to nearby reels. These can be for subsequent spins, or they can multiply other reels by their own value.

Super Bonus

You’ll enter this round by landing 4 Scatters. The round begins with an Epic Drop guaranteeing 7 or more symbols onto the reels and then operating in the same manner as the regular Bonus round.

Best of Bonus

If you land 3 Scatter Symbols, this third bonus round is triggered. Here you’ll play 3 bonus rounds in a row, you’ll play them one at a time and the best result from the 3 games is awarded to you.

Best of Super Bonus Landing 4 scatters plus a Best of Bonus Scatter trigger this fourth bonus game. Here you’ll discover 3 super bonus rounds in a row. Like the Best of Bonus round, you’ll play the 3 rounds one at a time and the one with the best results will be awarded to you.

Jackpot

As with the majority of games nowadays there is not a jackpot element within the Chaos Crew 2 game. However, with a huge 20,000x max win that’s pretty good going! If, however, you prefer to play a jackpot game you should visit our page with the best jackpot slot games available.

Play Experience & First Impressions

Like the sound of Morgan Freeman’s dulcet tones, this game captivates you from the second you start playing. The innovative imagery is a big pull, it stands out from other slot games on the market. The use of neon colours and high-res imagery will have mass appeal. The bread and butter of any slot game is of course - the features. The bonus round game was a winner when the first game launched so they’ve ramped this up for the second game. Now there’s not 1, but 4 exciting bonus rounds. It’s important to have a strong bonus game and they’ve pulled out all the stops with this. They’re all triggered by Scatters but wins come from special multiplier symbols. There’s also a nifty aspect of the ‘best of’ bonus rounds as you get to play 3 bonus rounds and are awarded what you win from the game with the highest rewards. The Epic Drop Feature is new and randomly awards a minimum of 5 multiplier symbols which land on the reels to reveal their values. The randomness of it is an exciting part of the experience.

Expert Verdict

Sometimes sequels fail - films such as Anchor Man 2 or Grease 2 come to mind when typing this. However, I’m happy to report that Chaos Crew 2 is even better than the original. It still has the cool graffiti and skater graphics but a lot of thought has gone into the features which have been added to the mix. Now there are 4 Bonus rounds to enjoy which include extra multiplier symbols to play with. The Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull symbols include new and improved multipliers which make the bonus rounds even more thrilling. Fans of multipliers will love this game, during the bonus rounds, visually it looks fantastic and it’s enjoyable to see your total totted up at the end. It’s worth another mention but the max win being doubled to a mega 20,000x is definitely worth shouting about.

Visually, the style reminds me of a Banksy exhibition I went to years ago in a tunnel near London’s Waterloo station. The theme is a great match for a slot game and the skater, graffiti and punk cultures have blended together seamlessly to create an atmospheric setting.

The choice of music was odd, especially for the base game as it starts off with dramatic piano music and then a euro beat is added to the mix as the pace picks up. There would be lots of cool music that would suit the game better - such as a rebellious punk track. Although, maybe punk is too much for slot players. However, it’s just a small gripe, as the game is excellent. I would 100% recommend it. Go and enjoy the chaos now!
