James Harden is now the clear favourite to be the next member of NBA's 30,000 point club
LA Clippers star James Harden is now the clear favourite at 1/3 to be the next NBA player to hit 30,000 points in his career with the 35-year-old on the way for the feat in the coming years.
Harden is currently on just under 27,000 total points in his NBA career and has totalled more than 1,000 points in every NBA season since 2010-11's 998 with the Thunder.
Continuing in this form would see Harden need around 2/3 more seasons to hit the mark and as long as his form doesn't fall too much or he retires he looks likely to hit the figure.
Giannis Antetokounmpo follows behind Harden in the market with the 30-year-old on 19,804 career points so far with a long time left in the NBA expected.
Next Player to reach 30,000 Point Club in NBA | Odds | Probability |

LeBron James is the highest point scorer in NBA history
NBA icon LeBron James is the leading scorer in NBA history with his 41,641 points scored so far putting him well clear of the rest of the field.
LeBron is the only member of NBA's 40,000 point club and still looks to be in great form at the age of 40 for the LA Lakers.
Arguably the Greatest NBA Player of All Time, James told reporters back in November that "I’m not playing until the wheels fall off" but he shows no signs of stopping in the near future.
