  • Kevin De Bruyne is the 8/1 favourite to be next season's PFA Player of the Year
  • Last season's winner Mo Salah is the second favourite at 9/1 in the betting market
  • New Manchester City signing Erling Haaland is 10/1 to win the award in his first season in the league

Kevin De Bruyne is the 8/1 favourite to be next season's PFA Player of the Year

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is the 8/1 favourite to be the 2022/23 PFA Player of the Year.

Bookmakers have already installed De Bruyne as favourite after another good season last year along with the signing of Erling Haaland.

It's expected that Haaland joining City gives De Bruyne an even better chance of assisting and having a better season at the Etihad.

PFA Player of the Year 2022/23 Odds Probability
Kevin De Bruyne 8/1 11.1%
Mo Salah 9/1 10.0%
Erling Haaland 10/1 9.1%
Harry Kane 12/1 7.7%
Phil Foden 14/1 6.7%

De Bruyne's Man City teammate Phil Foden is 14/1 to win the award next season after winning the PFA Young Player of the Year award last year for the second season running.

Bakayo Saka's odds were shortening week by week for that award last season, but ultimately Foden ended up winning the award for a second time.

Kevin De Bruyne is the 8/1 favourite to be the PFA Player of the Year winner for the 2022/23 season. De Bruyne has won the award in 2 of the last 3 years and will be looking to get it again this season.

Last season's winner Mo Salah is the second favourite at 9/1 in the betting market

Mo Salah won the PFA Player of the Year award last year after a big season saw him share the Golden Boot with Tottenham's Heung Min-Son.

Salah helped Liverpool get to the final day of the season still in the title race, but ultimately they ended up coming up short to Manchester City.

Salah though was voted the PFA Player of the Year by his peers for the second time after winning the award back in the 2017/18 season.

Bookies feel that he's got a decent chance of being there or thereabouts again this season with him second favourite in the betting market.

New Manchester City signing Erling Haaland is 10/1 to win the award in his first season in the league

The signing of Erling Haaland by Manchester City will have made the rest of the Premier League worried about the new season in terms of the title.

City have won the league for the last two seasons without a recognised striker and after this signing they now have a target man up top.

Erling Haaland's signing means that there are a whole host of betting specials around his arrival to the Premier League, including how many goals he'll get this season.

Bookies make him 5/1 to be the top scorer in the Premier League in the 22/23 season with Kevin De Bruyne seemingly eager to get started alongside him.

Erling Haaland has signed for Manchester City and his arrival will likely make the Champions even stronger. At odds of 10/1, bookies already make him third favourite to be the PFA Player of the Year this season.
