King George VI Chase sees competitive betting market

The busy Christmas period is fast approaching and with it brings some massive events in the world of Horse Racing with the King George VI Chase taking place on Boxing Day each year.

This year's renewal of the King George VI Chase will have a much clearer market in the coming days following various entries being confirmed but Antepost odds are offered currently with Bet365.

Bookmakers have a whole host of markets available for the festive races with such open races like these having different favourites for the race from bookie-to-bookie.

Both Fact To File and Spillane's Tower both feature towards the top of the betting despite both needing to be supplemented with Grey Dawning sandwiched between the pair of them in the top three of the market.

Bet365's latest odds sees Fact To File as the 3/1 favourite with the cut off date for supplementing set for two days time on December 20th.

What the expert says...
Bookies have a wide-open market available for Boxing Day's King George VI Chase with two of the top three in the betting still needing to be supplemented. It's unclear who will run in the race as of yet with Fact To File topping the betting market without guarantees of running.

Mr Vango is favourite for the Welsh Grand National

Friday 27 December sees the Welsh Grand National take place at Chepstow in what is a yearly event that has been held ever since 1895.

Nassalam won the race last year and features in the betting market as the third favourite to win once again despite Hayley Moore, daughter of trainer Gary, saying that we won't see him run in the race.

Mr Vango tops the market at 6/1 in what is unsurprisingly a wide-open betting affair based on such a big field over the 3 miles and 6½ furlongs distance.
