Lossiemouth leads the betting odds for the Mares Hurdle on Day One

Day One confirmations have now been made for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival with one of the big market movers seeing Lossiemouth now odds-on favourite for the Close Brothers Mares Hurdle.

Willie Mullins had previously said that Lossiemouth would be heading for the Champion Hurdle earlier in the week but now looks certain to race in the Mares with Lossiemouth drifting out to 12/1 on the Betfair Exchange for the Champion Hurdle.

Betting sites continue to offer odds on the Cheltenham Festival as we get closer and closer to it getting underway and the Mares Hurdle, formerly sponsored by OLBG, sees Lossiemouth now as the clear favourite.

Paddy Power's latest odds for the race gives Lossiemouth a 63% chance of winning the race on Tuesday with Jade De Grugy following behind in the market.
