Men vs Women

The debate has only recently come to light after a suggestion that there should be an opening for the Next James Bond to be played by a female actor, and despite the current 007 Daniel Craig recently stating that it should never happen.

What is interesting in the results is that both men and women polled seem to agree, when it might have been expected that the results might have been skewed a little more.

Lashana Lynch is already 007 though!

Lahana Lynch's character Nomi, has already been assigned the 007 moniker in the new movie, but of course, that is just the assignment of a number, not the James Bond character.

When Lashana Lynch was questioned on who should be the next James Bond, intimating she might want the role, she responded,

They’re actually giving the audience what they want to give the audience. With Bond, it could be a man or woman. They could be white, black, Asian, mixed race. They could be young or old. At the end of the day, even if a two-year-old was playing Bond, everyone would flock to the cinema to see what this two-year-old’s gonna do, no?

She might have a point, but it doesn't stop the speculation ahead of the release of No Tie to Die in cinemas this week after multiple delays thanks to COVID restrictions and the fact that she is given the 007 title in the newBond movie
