This looks very competitive. Gemirande ran well over course and distance last December on good to soft going and carried 12-1. He has been dropped two pounds but carries 11-4 today so this must be a better race.
Today is Gemirande's second race after a break and he has won twice in similar circumstances.
His chasing record since joining Venetia Williams reads 2322.
He has won in the month of November.
Gemirande has won a race with 12 runners.
Venetia Williams has hit form recently with several winners and placed horses.

This does not look as competitive as our first race with four runners out of the handicap which in theory should suit the favourites.
Six year old Bak Rocky has had only one outing over fences but that was a promising effort last month. He improved during the race after missing out the first and was noted keeping on well over 17 furlongs on soft going. Today's step up in trip should suit.
The dam was a useful winning chaser over today's distance and got off the mark over fences in the December of her six year old season.
The stable is going well - three out of their last five runners have won.

First run for a new Stable and post gelding, both possible reasons for improvement, he has run well here before and has regular jockey David Egan on board. He has finished in the first three 4 times from 7 starts on all weather surfaces and races from 2lb’s off bottom weight.

WillTeasel remains in the lead after he scored in both races but Delboy980 in 2nd place gained 8.25 points on him. All three of the top players chose the same horse in the first race. All five of the top players scored in both races but the one who did best was Igoruk who had the second and third highest scores, nobody got the 50/1 3rd in the first race, giving him 131 points.

Gis last win on the a/w was here at Kempton over c/d in March last year in a class 4 handicap when made fav leading inside the final furlong winning by 3/4 of a length. He is in a class 4 handicap over 1 mile and has Daniel Muscutt in the saddle This gelding has won more recently in a class 5 handicap on the flat at Newcastle in June over 1 mile. He didn’t run as badly as his finishing position 2 3/4 lengths behind Ashky suggests, when fifth of nine on his latest outing at Newmarket September. A 2lb drop in the weights can benefit and he has Daniel Muscutt in the saddle.
