Steven Spielberg is the -333 favourite to win Best Director for his film The Fabelmans at the Golden Globes

The full nominations are now out for the 2023 Golden Globes and Steven Spielberg is the -333 favourite with Betting sites to win Best Director at next month's show.

His movie The Fabelmans is a semi-autobiographical story based on Spielberg's younger years as a filmmaker and has received great success critically.

Spielberg has a 76% chance of winning the award which he has won twice before, for Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List.

James Cameron's Avatar sequel is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year and is released this week in the UK.

The popularity of the film may see Cameron's odds tumble in the Best Director market.

Martin McDonagh’s 'The Banshees of Inisherin' has picked up eight nominations for the 2023 Golden Globes and leads the way in a number of categories.

Bookies make Colin Farrell the favourite in the Best Actor 'Comedy/Musical' for his role in the film with odds of -450 suggesting he'll take the award easily.

It's +225 to win Best Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical just behind Everything Everywhere All At Once which is -225 favourite for the award.
