2024 Miami Grand Prix
The dream of a Grand Prix to be staged in Miami was put forward in 2018 with hopes of 2019 being the first GP, however, complications around the location of the track meant any chance was out the window.
The track location was moved and then fresh hopes of a 2021 debut were dashed when the FIA opted for the Saudi Arabian GP instead, however, 2022 was finally Miami's year with a ten-year contract in place.
The race takes place at the Miami International Autodrome, a street circuit based around the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.

How long is the Miami Grand Prix?
The Miami International Autodrome consists of a lap which is 5.41 km (3.36 miles) and drivers have to complete 57 laps for a total distance of 308 km (191 miles).
Being a street circuit, it will be a demanding track, chances of overtakes are a bit of an unknown and there are a total of 19 corners with two very long straights.

- Friday 3rd May - Practice 1 & Qualifying
- Saturday 4th May - Sprint Shootout & Sprint
- Sunday 5th May - The Race
Where can I watch the Miami Grand Prix?
It is sure to be a bumper crowd for the inaugural GP and given the American fans on F1, it should be one spectacular atmosphere and they know who to host an event!
This type of circuit means getting a seat in the right location is a seat anyway really! Turns 1, 11 or 17 are speculated as being the best overtaking opportunities.
There are plenty of other options though and if you cannot make it to the Miami Grand Prix then the race will be screened live on the Sky Sports F1 Channel.
