• Value Odds - A player in a rich vein of form will most likely have odds priced accordingly heading into their next tournament, are they a fair reflection of the player's chance in their next event?
• Other Influences - It pays to keep up to speed with any news that may impact performance since their last tournament, health, fitness, off-course issues etc.
• Previous Course Form - A player may be in the best form of their career but if their game just doesn't suit a particular course then will it be any different this year?

This prediction is for the golfer to win the tournament, it can be a "Win" bet so the golfer has to win the event or it may be an "Each Way" selection which means the golfer can usually finish in the top 5 to 8 places and a partial payout will result. The place terms can vary from tournament to tournament for "Each Way" betting, which may be a 1/4 or 1/5 of the odds for the "place" element of the odds and bookmakers may offer up to 8 or even 10 places for the big tournaments like the Masters and the US Open. Each Way betting is usually available in the Top American, Top GB&IRE betting markets, especially for the main events but it may not always be the case for the regular weekly tournaments depending on the number of players from designated locations taking part.
