He has ran well in 3 of his 4 hurdle starts, with his best 2 being his last 2 performances. The first of those was a win at Wincanton by 6 lengths to Dartmoor Pirate who finished 4th in a Grade 3 afterwards. That form has been well franked with the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 9th placed horses all winning subsequently. The selection then finished a very close 2nd last time out at Newbury and that form has been franked with the winner following up in a Class 2 at Cheltenham, and the 3rd place horse has also won subsequently so the selection should run well despite the competitive field

He has ran respectably in all of his completed starts with his main disappointment being when pulling up in the Irish National despite being favourite. His 4th last time out at Cheltenham was still promising as his saddle slipped although reappearing following 6 months off, he won after a 6 month break in 2021. He is also related to top class Back In Focus who won between 2m6f-4m so these thorough stamina tests suit him

He won on very soft ground over 1m4f in France in 2021, and finally broke his UK duck when winning on the all weather on his penultimate start. That was over 2m and he drops back by 1.5 furlongs but this will still suit as he is related to 1m3f-1m7f winner Light In The Dark and a very good run can be expected

He won on his penultimate start over 1m6f on soft ground at Haydock, and he performed very well on his seasonal reappearance finishing just a length behind the winner and 13 lengths ahead of 3rd. His dam Sabaidee was a 2m1f winner and she was a half sister to a 2m Listed winner Romantic Affair and 1m4f Listed winner Little Italy, a lot of stamina in his pedigree to suggest he will run well at this trip today
