Saracen is on debut from the strong O'Brien yard and should be ready to go. He cost 500,000 euros as a yearling, and the owners will be looking to have that faith confirmed here with the stable jockey up.

Showed nice promise in two runs in NHF racing and is trained by a very good trainer of hurdlers (22% winning strike rate). Has been patiently handled and given 11 months off for education in this new role, as he makes his hurdle debut. A big effort is expected. Breeding suggests any easing of the ground would really be appreciated.

From the good Harrington yard and Harry Swan is in the pigskin. Consistent without setting the world on fire and the amateur rider company should suit nicely after two runs to benefit after a wee let-up. Big improver here at odds.

Wayne Hassett claims here, and that could be very helpful in an open field where every advantage needs to be working in your favor. Three runs back have been useful and look like the big improver here.

Tartaraghan strikes a field that should be to his liking this time out. With that recent promising second under the belt, he could go one better at reasonable odds this time of asking.

One that hails from the strong Bolger yard and needs a patient ride here from a wide draw. Looks like the improver in this lineup and could bob up for a minor upset.

Consistent type and trainer and jockey both have strike rates on the synthetic surface of between 13 and 14%, so on paper, they look like a good combination for a race like this. Plus, Jenever is racing consistently and solidly, and so a continuation of that would likely put her in the frame.

My Boy Jack gets down to a luxurious 8.9 here, a full stone less than he won in Class 6 (Div 2) earlier in his career. He is racing well with two recent placings, and that suggests that he's capable of taking this out with that big weight advantage. Ryan Kavanagh has an excellent 17% strike rate on AW tracks.
