These are the top three quickest-run Lockinge Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  2. Lead Artist (1:35.06) in 2025
  3. Rhododendron (1:35.07) in 2018

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Backing all 19 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -7.21. Remember to use the racing predictions along with the information on this page to find a bet on the 2026 Lockinge Stakes.

Over the last 20 renewals, it was Rakti, trained by Michael Jarvis and ridden by Philip Robinson, who set the fastest winning time in the Lockinge Stakes. That runner won the race in a time of 1:33.59 in 2005. At the other end of the scale, it was the combination of trainer Sir Michael Stoute and jockey Kieren Fallon with Peeress who set the slowest winning time; the race-winning time was 1:44.57 in the 2006 renewal.

What the expert says...
The Queen Anne Stakes is the usual route of the winner, between 2005-24, fifteen of the winners went there and five of those won. Canford Cliffs (2011), Frankel (2012), Ribchester (2017), Palace Pier (2021) and Baaeed (2022) were the successful runners.
