Game Data

There's a smart wolf with a master plan that can help him snatch many sheep from the farm. With the Sheep Gone Wild online slot, players can see how successful its plan is. We like how the audiovisuals of this release are carefully designed and executed by Red Tiger's team.

In addition to the abovementioned wolf spins, the Sheep Gone Wild slot has two other bonuses – the picker bonus and sheep snatch features. As for the regular gameplay, players can alter their stakes before any spin or use a fast-forward mode. They can do other things like activating an auto-spins feature.

Graphics, Music, and Sound Effects

When a game has a fun theme like this, it's easy to come up with entertaining graphics. For example, there is a gameboard with planks filled with colourful icons featuring various details that will keep your attention.

Also, a funny dog guitar player is below the layout, and sheep on a farm are in the background. On top of that, the predator wolf occasionally shows up around the matrix.

It's logical for a title like this to have retro-style music that takes players back in time. We like the loud sound effects that make the gameplay more exciting.

Key Features

Indeed, the visual appearance and the audio that accompanies a slot game are important, but what's even more essential are the fundamental game features. We carefully analysed these things in our Sheep Gone Wild slot review to help you make the best decision.

Like all slot game reviews at OLBG, this one has detailed information about the RTP, story, paylines and reels, bonuses, and other things that affect your gaming experience. Reading our Sheep Gone Wild review to its end will prepare players for everything they can expect in this game.

Theme – Farm

It's not uncommon for modern slots to have a farm theme. Still, the story of the Sheep Gone Wild online slot goes beyond the regular ones and features a cunning wolf in the central role.

The wolf aims to snatch sheep to help players enjoy significant rewards.

It's good that players can enjoy the seemingly idyllic farm atmosphere by familiarizing themselves with the animals found on the farm, including the sheepdog, the sheep, and the wolf. Of course, this farm is managed by humans, so it's no surprise that there's a shepherd involved in the story too.

We mentioned some icons on the reels before. We will now reveal all ten basic symbols, which were obviously based on the theme: five Playing Card values decorated with bells and flowers, a Chicken, a Cat, a Pig, a Cow, and a Shepherd.

The Wild icon looks like a Sheep, while the Scatter appears like a Wolf in human clothes.

Reels

With 5 reels, the Sheep Gone Wild slot follows the practice of almost all other online slots released nowadays. The only slightly different thing is the 4 rows per reel contributing to the 5x4 gameboard.

Paylines

Regarding paylines, you can hit winning patterns on 25 paylines. Their number is fixed, and getting a winning combo requires three, four, or five matching basic symbols on one payline.

RTP

We have a subheading dedicated to the slot's RTP because we believe that the theoretical Return to Player percentage is vital for slot players. After all, that's how they can better understand their long-term returns. So, the Sheep Gone Wild RTP is 95.73%, a substantial percentage.

The provider recommends the abovementioned value, meaning that online casinos can alter it. From what we've seen, they already did that, and some of them provide higher while others promise smaller RTPs, as seen on our table.

Before joining any of these websites, we advise you to read the reviews. You can assess the offer of any gambling site by analysing its game selection, customer care, banking methods, welcome bonuses and deals, and a few other factors.

These things are explained in detail in our casino reviews.

Of course, sticking to just one slot game, no matter how great it is, is not an option for most players. That's why we have a page highlighting the slot sites we recommend. These are licensed and established casinos with the best slots available to UK players.

Stake Range

Honestly, the stake range of the Sheep Gone Wild online slot can be more comprehensive, but that's how most Red Tiger slots work. Namely, users can select one of the eight stakes through the stake button.

The lowest bet is worth £0.2, while the highest is £6.

Max Win

The maximum win is something that most players will appreciate. It's rare to see a game with a max win capped at 13,400x the player's bet these days, and the Sheep Gone Wild slot is like that.

Sheep Snatch

This is one of the slots that includes original bonus features, basically upgraded bonuses found in many other titles. First, randomly, the game can display a sheep on the main screen asking players to click on it. After that, the wolf will snatch it and provide a reel modifier.

Players can get symbol transformation, turning one playing card icon into a Wild symbol. They can also unveil a win multiplier of x2 or x3 applied to the win (if any).

The good thing is that you can activate up to three Sheep Snatches in a row; in that case, potential multiplies are summed up (max. x8).

Wolf Spins and Picker Bonus

Another icon you should look for on the grid is the Wolf Spins Scatter. Lucky players with three or more Wolf Spins Scatters anywhere on the grid will launch 7 free spins. Before this round starts, you can choose from 15 sheep the wolf will snatch. The number of activating Scatters will determine the number of picks.

The sheep you select can help you transform symbols into Wilds, win a multiplier of x2 or x3 (up to x10 when stacked), and/or extra free spins (2 to 5). Players getting a Wolf Spins Scatter during free spins will get an additional pick.

Jackpot

Unfortunately, you can't expect to win a fixed or progressive jackpot prize in this game. However, the maximum win is capped at 13,400 times your total bet, which is a substantial amount, especially when playing with the highest stake.

Also, OLBG lists the best jackpot slot games on a single page, so we recommend visiting this page if you are into titles with direct jackpots.

Play Experience & First Impressions

Farm-themed slots are not my favourite, but thanks to Red Tiger's fresh take on the old theme in its Sheep Gone Wild slot game, I enjoyed activating the 100-spin test. It turned out that there was a medium win frequency in this release, and the RTP was 74.4% at the end of the test.

This might not sound impressive, but I had a blast with the bonuses of this title. Players should know that the randomly-triggered Sheep Snatch feature was triggered 10 times, so I got one random modifier every ten spins on average. I got great multipliers and symbol upgrades to wilds. Two of these activations included three sheep-picking sequences in a row.

So, thanks to the Sheep Snatch, I got 24 times my bet once and 17 times another time. Interestingly, I didn't get anything the first time I triggered it on the 22nd spin, so ending this bonus without a win on the reels is possible.

The only thing that disappointed me was the missed opportunity to activate free spins. I'll definitely try that in my next 100-spin test. Regarding the slot's visuals and audio, it's a modern game with exciting music and animations.

100 Spin Test

100 spins is not a Real Test

We give every slot a 100 spin test to see just what it can do, or not as the case can often be - 100 spins is no reflection of the likelihood of any other 100-spin session, as RTP's are set over many millions and probably billions of spins. So this 100 spin test is just for entertainment and insight purposes

Expert Verdict

Experienced players have probably seen dozens of farm-themed online slots, but the Sheep Gone Wild slot is different. This release by Red Tiger takes the story to another level, thanks to the uninvited guest – the sly wolf.

It's equipped with refined animations and striking visual elements. Additionally, you can listen to a unique piece of music for a complete experience.

Players should expect a 5x4 grid providing 25 non-adjustable paylines, which is more or less typical for today's releases. The RTP is within the industry's limits at 95.72%, even though I was not lucky enough to witness this percentage and got only 74.4% in my spin test. Also, we have another high-volatility release.

The bonuses are entertaining and include unique elements like the randomly-appearing modifiers that can help you hit significant wins. The same goes for the round of free spins with boosted modifiers.

All in all, we can say that the Sheep Gone Wild online slot takes a standard theme and standard bonuses and upgrades them to another, more enjoyable level. These and a few other things make it a recommended title.
