The first step to determining whether you should try a random slot is assessing the audiovisual elements it features. If you like what you’ve read (seen and heard) about the Age of the Gods God of Storm slot, it’s time to focus on the second step. This means you should check the key game features.
To save you some precious time and energy, we gathered all the key game features in one place and separated them into unique categories. We do this with all slot game reviews at OLBG to make it easier for users to find what they are looking for.
It all begins with the theme, followed by the reels, paylines, and RTP, and ends with the max win, stake range, and unique features.
Theme – Greek Mythology
Some readers might feel skeptical when they read that the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot game was inspired by Greek mythology because this is a common theme. However, this time the story is different.
Instead of introducing Zeus or some other “mainstream” god, this release puts Aeolus, the god of the wins, in the leading role. With its help, players can travel to different port cities and encounter exciting things in the open sea.
More about these encounters you can expect is presented on the paytable. Besides the stylish five playing card values made of metal, this title has five other regular symbols: a decorative Vase, a Sea Monster, a Persian Archer, a female Greek Warrior, and a Spartan.
On top of that, we have the Ship Wild and the regular Wild symbol.
Reels
Even if you are not a frequent player, you’ve probably noticed that almost all modern slots have 5 reels. Well, the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot follows this pattern and has 3 rows per reel. So, every time you press the play button, you will get 15 icons on a 5x3 grid.
Paylines
The number of paylines is also unsurprising – 25. The difference is that you can adjust this default number according to your needs. You can play with as little as 1 payline per spin. To hit a winning pattern, you will need three to five regular symbols on an active payline. The two most valuable icons pay for two to five of the same kind on any active payline.
RTP
Our Age of the Gods God of Storms slot continues with the theoretical Return to Player percentage. This technical and theoretical value reflects the potential payout rate every user can expect after an unspecified number of spins. Generally, these percentages are based on long gaming sessions.
So, the default RTP of this slot game is 96.14% which is high, especially for a progressive slot. That’s a solid number compared to other releases. However, like in the case of different games, the RTP can vary in online casinos because they can adjust this value.
The table below highlights the Return to Player percentages in various top-rated UK online casinos. It also includes links to reviews prepared by our experts. Stake Range
Players can change the size of the line bet, and as they change the value, they impact the total bet size too. So, the line stake of the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot can be between £0.01 and £10 while the total bet is between £0.25 and £250.
Max Win
Of course, there’s a limit to the maximum amount you can win in a single round. This time, the amount is capped at 2,500 times your current stake.
Wild Wind Respins
Let us start this section by noting that there are two Wild icons in the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot. First, there’s the Ship Wild which is also a paying symbol. Next, we have the marble-like Wild. All Wilds appear stacked and count as regular symbols regardless of the type.
You can land the Wilds only on the central three reels. The Wild Wind Respins are activated whenever the Ship Wild covers a reel. The Ship stays on the reels and moves one position to the left as the God of Storms blows it.
Every time it moves, the Ship Wild boosts the global win multiplier. This activity keeps occurring until the ship wild leaves the matrix. The good news is that the win multiplier can reach 5x.
Progressive Jackpot Game
For many players, the fact that there’s a chance to win a progressive jackpot here will be the main reason to try the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot. This makes sense because the potential rewards are massive.
Numerous Playtech slots are linked to the four mystery progressive jackpots (Power, Extra Power, Super Power, and Ultimate Power). Randomly, you can access the jackpot game on any spin in this slot. Remember that the higher the stake, the more chances of entering this game.
Once you are in this game, where you must reveal jackpot symbols and match three identical ones, you can rest assured that you’ll get one of the four progressive jackpots.

Play Experience & First Impressions
By Andrej Trajkovski on first review
Note the 100 Spin test above has been re-run, since this first review took place
This is one of the longest 100-spin test sessions I ever had. The main culprit was the unreasonably long animated sequences that kept occurring after every win worth over 1 time my initial bet.
Honestly, there were not many wins like this during my session. However, it has still made the gameplay slower and somewhat annoying after a while. It’s ironic because I won relatively good prizes but was frustrated with the long animations.
There was a medium frequency of wins, most of which were lower than 1 times the total stake. During my test, I launched the Wild Wind Respins feature three times, and I must admit it was entertaining. The god of the winds kept blowing the ship, and the wins were boosted by an increasing win multiplier leading to some of the biggest wins in this round (up to 14.4x the bet).
Of course, I didn’t get the opportunity to play for the progressive jackpot prize because I played the demo version.
Besides this, I would also like to mention that I had a pleasant audiovisual experience except for the animations. If I could get more than the RTP of 79.8%, it would have been a perfect experience.
