Distance winner turned out again quickly after running 14 days ago when finishing last of 9, although only beaten 2 1/2L in a better than today class 2 at the always turning course Chester and coming out of the widest draw in stall 9. So I think that run can be ignored, which was off a rating of 77, which drops to 76 today in a class 4.

Was made favourite for his last run, which was only 11 days ago, when finishing 2nd of 10 (winner went on to win again 6 days later) in a same as today class 5 over 7f on good to firm. Rating has only gone up a manageable one point and has the same jockey on board. Quite a few of today’s rivals step up from class 6 last time out. Sneaks into a nice ew bet @6/1 paying 4 places.

8-year-old who's turned out again very quickly after running only three days ago, finishing a losing touch 4 out of 8th of 9 with a rating of 75. Interesting down in trip today to 2m 48yds off the same rating, but a 3lb claimer takes over in the saddle. Had a good 2nd of 9 here over CD last November under today's jockey with a rating of 76.
