Blew off the cobwebs with a close 2nd to the promising road to Wembley then took a similar event to todays overcoming some trouble in running. Up 8lb but even slight improvement should see him better than these.

Just caught on the line last time out at this track 22 days ago with the winner franking the form in a class 2 at aintree a short head behind afadil who ran well again at the weekend. Has a decent 5lb claimer on today and yard going well of late, should be good enough over this longer trip to beat the current fav!

Hit the ground running 9 days ago at thirsk in similar conditions so has the fitness edge and a replication of that would put him bang there and hopefully ahead of hortzadar who i think is way past his best despite coming down in the weights and do i dream who isnt thw most reliable of sorts.

Looks more capable or atleast more consistent than a lot of these, put up an excellent show in a class 1 event over further last time out landing the the 4th position, a repeat of that effort under a jockey who seems to know him well he can the job done.

A tentative bet on hewick today. The ground 'officially 'has come more into to scope for him and lets face it this boy is a stamina machine and you couldnt truthfully right him out of any race with his ability and his while his win at sandown doesnt give the greatest apeal for form but i love this chap and hope he can place or win an add to the amazing career and story hes had thus far.

Very rarely runs a bad race this one and jockey beau morgan gets on well with this one. Yard is in good form and up only 4lb from chasing home chianti classico at the fez has good place chance and maybe a winning one too.
