Today's undulations should not be a problem as she has won at Bellewstown. Now back on her last winning official rating of 76, Charming Lady looks big at these odds. She goes well for claiming riders and has scored twice with Robert Whearty who is on board today. This jockey has won three handicaps in the last fortnight and should be a better rider than he was a year ago but still claims a useful five pounds allowance. Ridden prominently when winning, Charming Lady is a danger to all if getting away smartly. A first time visor may help.

There are some smart racehorses in this one's pedigree if one goes back through the dams. Barnsnape Boy has achieved little so far but the drop down to the minimum trip could be significant. Trainer Adam West has a good record with horses racing over 5 furlongs having trained Live In The Dream to win the Nunthorpe last season. The winning jockey on that occasion, Sean Kirrane, regains the ride. Improvement is certainly required but Barnsnape Boy could spring a surprise on his handicap debut in this Class 6 affair.
