Figures looking pretty good considering he's had a bit of a tough time of it of late. Has had to come from the rear a lot and has never really found the room to do so. The finishing positions don't reflect the performances and many can be upgraded. Speed ratings good, RPRs consistent, but the big field is a concern as he just seems to find traffic wherever he goes. Maybe the size of the field could open things up a bit and is running off a dangerous mark here.

Much improved last time out at Musselburgh with a speed rating surpassing anything he did last summer. Seems to be in good shape now and conditions should suit and has a great chance with a nice draw. The yard has had some winners recently too

Following a poor effort on the all weather to shake the cobwebs of a 6 month absence on stable debut he performed pretty well here in similar conditions following a dodgy start. The drop in trip will suit as will the 2lb off the mark and drop in class. At this price, is worth taking a chance on, and will be interesting to see if first time cheekpieces will help

A poor quality race for me. Brummell is a decent rival who could absolutely win this but aside from that I don't see too many others who could really challenge. Last time out Willolarupi looked decent at a soft Catterick so conditions will suit and recorded a speed rating that would win this race comfortably. Am going each way due to the threat of Brummell and hope the price will drift

Upped 4lb from a good win at Windsor. Has performed well on soft before so I don't see conditions being an issue. He beat Hakuna Babe by 15l in that Windsor effort and despite there being a slight excuse, I don't see enough of one to justify the short price and I don't expect the result to be reversed

Will be fit following the Southwell effort last time out and speed rating wise, was not a bad performance at all. Has handled some cut to the ground in the past so I don't see the conditions being a problem at all. He's 2 wins in 2 visits here, and I expect him to make it 3/3.

Racing Post calls this 10 year old 'regressive' which I'm inclined to disagree with. Faded earlier this month but ran quite close to form and has been dropped 2lb here. Some good performances on the all weather over the winter show that he's got plenty left to give and speed ratings are far better than most of this weak field. Has a better chance than people might give him credit for

Destroyed his rivals on a soft Catterick earlier in the month and the 5lb rise will certainly be OK if we see a performance anything like that effort. A weak field and only The Smiling Wolf has any chance of beating him. A reverse forecast on these two should be a safe bet but I fancy the favourite here.

I fancy Flowering to win this. Very consistent performer on the all weather and returns to turf for the first time since debut which is an obvious risk, but there's just not enough suitable rivals here that can mount a serious challenge in my view. Oisin Murphy tends to perform well here and is a good first time booking (9 wins in 24 and placed in 68% of rides)

Rare that I think there's value in such short odds but this should be easy money considering how poor quality the race is. Very few I can give any real chance too and I think it would be a real surprise not to see her following up her excellent C&D win a week ago. 3lb rise is definitely manageable
