Richard Parker is the 4/6 favourite to win the West Midlands Mayoral Election
Bookies are now offering betting odds on some of the upcoming Mayoral Election's this week with full betting markets now available for the West Midlands Mayoral Election.
The West Midlands region is heavily populated with it being the second most populous city region in the UK outside of London and the Mayor of West Midlands position was created in 2017.
Andy Street is the current Mayor of West Midlands but bookmakers latest odds have the Labour candidate Richard Parker as the 4/6 favourite to win the election tomorrow.
The latest polls from Redfield & Wilton give Parker a 6% lead over Street and bookies agree with a 60% implied probability that he'll win tomorrow's election according to the betting odds.
West Midlands Mayoral Election | Odds | Probability |

Richard Parker | 4/6 | 60.0% |
Andy Street | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Siobhan Harper-Nunes | 66/1 | 1.5% |
What the expert says...
Richard Parker is the favourite to be voted in as the next West Midlands Mayor with the latest odds suggesting a 60% chance of it happening! This market is the tightest with bookies and polls unable to separate the Labour and Conservative candidates at the top.
Conservative candidate Andy Street is the close second favourite in the odds at 11/10
Andy Street is the current Mayor of West Midlands and he announced that he would be standing once again to be re-elected earlier this year in what would be his third term.
The contest looks extremely close with a different polling set given by YouGov putting Street as the winner compared to that Redfield & Wilton vote we referenced earlier.
YouGov's polls show that it's too close to call with just a 2% split between the top two and it could well be the tightest run for the Mayoral seat across the 2024 elections.
Other elections are set to take place tomorrow with more Mayoral seats up for grabs
Further elections will be taking place on Thursday with 10 mayors being voted on as well as more that 2,600 local councillors across the UK.
The East Midlands is completely different to the West with Labour heavy favourites in the East with Labour candidate Claire Ward the massive favourite at 1/6.
Tees Valley is the only Mayoral market that can be bet on that has a Conservative candidate as the favourite with Ben Houchen 4/9 to be voted as the Tees Valley Mayor on Thursday evening.
