Premier League Betting Picks at OLBG Explained

The overall confidence rating for each EPL pick looks at the total win picks on each Premier League match spread across home, away, and draw selections. A higher confidence rating than the odds of that team is a good indication of a possible value wager.

Our Premier League experts cover predictions on a wide selection of markets including 1X2, over-under goals, both teams to score, first goalscorer, and correct score. Some handicappers are experts in finding great wagers from certain markets. They have studied all the stats and trends so you don't have to.

Premier League Betting & Statistics

The English Premier League is the top tier of English soccer and consists of the best 20 teams in the country, who play 38 games home and away.

More wagers are placed on EPL matches than any other League in the world, with over 200 live markets for every match from a range of EPL bookies. The most popular are the 1x2 markets, over/under 2.5 goals, and correct score predictions.

The bookies compete with each other to offer the best odds knowing the number of customers whose first search is for Premier League Betting odds. You will find a huge variation between the best and worst odds, which can make a big difference to your returns, especially when it comes to EPL Parlay wagers.

The season is played from August through to May with currently the three teams bottom of the table after those 38 games being relegated. These teams are then replaced by the top 3 teams from the Championship.

Betting Picks on outright markets and individual matches are placed throughout the season, with if anything who will be relegated, rather than who will win the EPL creating way more betting interest.

This is because as we saw in the 2017-18 season more teams are in the relegation dog fight, rather than vying for the EPL title, every weekend from January 2018 there were so-called 6-pointers between teams at the wrong end of the table.

Since its inception in 1992 and up until the end of the 2017/18 season 49 clubs had played in the EPL.  Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have played in every EPL season.

Currently, the top 4 clubs each season qualify for the UEFA Champions League. The fifth-placed team in the Premier League qualifies for the Europa Cup.

The sixth and seventh-placed EPL teams can also qualify for the Europa League depending on who wins the EFL and FA Cup.

The betting battle for qualification for European tournaments often goes right to the wire, with none of the big six wanting to give way.

There is a lot of talk amongst fans and the general public about soccer player earnings. Many think that soccer players are overpaid, but what about those who don't even play?

Our research showed the top-earning players by minutes on the pitch, showing really their earnings from the bench, with some very costly reserve keepers to note.
