Had an interest in Horse Racing for many years now, watching on the TV, reading the form, going racing and having a great day out, all of which are in my eyes superb. Have now taken the plunge and have some shares in a few, which again makes it even more interesting. The feeling you get when you have a winner or three is special and I do back all my tips. If you are serious about betting the best thing you can do is watch as much racing as you can, as this is the best way of studying form. Not one to rely but she is well handicapped and showed up better when last seen despite again pulling up. Her price does reflect her chance but the yard are now back firing and with the drying ground she could be a decent each way shout.

Highest rated in this Grade 1 Novices Hurdle and Paul Nicholls has been very patient with him since purchased out of the Gordon Elliott yard for an eye watering amount. This is his first start outside of Ireland where he had some smart form and it will be disappointing if he doesn't run very well indeed.

With the handicapper slowly getting to grips with Famoso I feel he will find it very difficult to give 12lbs to my selection. The Paul Webber trained 6yo has had only the one chase start at Huntingdon in the middle of last month winning rather nicely, he looks progressive enough to follow up.

Going back to 2021 when with Mick Channon Danzart did finish 2nd at Salisbury in soft ground off a mark of 70 and then on his next start won again with the ground soft at Lingfield off of 71. After leaving to join Stella Barclay his form dipped somewhat but he will love the conditions and his run at Doncaster (ignoring the start) was a step in the right direction. His mark of 65 looks ok and he is an each way player.

The Adrian Nicholls northern raider travels a mere 500 mile round trip for this so should go close. Another who will love the ground stays 6f which will be a plus and he comes here on the back of a decent success at Donny 14 days ago. Mia Nicholls takes off a handy 5lb which puts him only 2lb higher than 2 weeks ago.

Ran a very good race to finish 4th of 7 when seen at Doncaster on the opening day of the flat season in a listed affair. That should have brought her on massively for this her second start of the season. She is the best rated in this and as such carries top weight, but Oliver Searle takes off a very handy 7lb. The ground is key as she loves it soft and will get that here at Bath.

According to the market this looks to be a two horse race which can go the way of the Clive Cox runner. Only had two starts to date both last year. He won the last of those over 6f at Wolverhampton in Nov and won it with what looked to be a little in hand. Has been gelded since, steps up in trip and with the yard in such good early season form he is hard to ignore.

Clive Cox makes a 360 mile round trip with only the one runner and hopefully it will be a successful trip with a change of luck. Zero from 12 runners doesn't tell the full story as the yard have had 6 runner up finishes so deserve a change of fortune. My selection has been gelded over the winter since last seen and if he has wintered well can go close. Has only had the 4 runs last season winning first time up over todays trip at Newbury with the ground good to soft. Didn't win after that but the last twice when running well were in very good company.

Lively Citizen drops back into class 4 company after running such a good race in the Imperial Cup when last seen. Prior to that, at a nice price, finished runner up at Mussleburgh. The ground today is an unknown, but he meets nothing of the calibre of the Sandown race and must surely go close.

It will be quite a performance for the Micky Hammond filly to overturn the boys in this NHF finale but I feel she has a chance. It wasn't a bad NHF all weather affair when we first saw her at the end of Jan. Interesting that Brian Hughes is booked off a low weight and with improvement sure to come she looks a fancy price.

3 in this were last time out winners and at this time of the year could be anything. I am siding with the Clive Cox runner as the yard are in form Richard Kingscote is in the saddle and was a comfortable winner at Salisbury when last seen.

I like Bucephalus as well as my selection so will be doing both, but Ensured just edges it for me with Sylvestre De Sousa on board. My selection has won over this trip when the ground is heavy and looks a good each way price. I will also do the forecast 8/9 reversed.

This will be a tough ask for my selection but she is a tough and talented filly who will relish the ground. If (and its a big if) she has wintered well she could go very well indeed. She receives all the allowances which makes her even more appealing and with the yard in fine form and willing to bring her all the way from Devon she looks overpriced.

Had a max rating of 130 with Oliver Sherwood before joining Harry Derham. Started off in new surroundings off a mark of 108 which was rather an attractive mark and won nicely at Mussleburgh (81 days ago) over todays trip. Up 5lb for that and it may not be enough to stop him for going in again.

Now the race has cut up it looks ripe for the taking by the Paul Nicholls newcomer. One point run and one win back in Nov means one of the other unraced runners will have to be smart to get the better of the Ditcheat runner.

The fav does look likely to go close but the stand out is Flegmatik. Has been plying his trade over 24f of late and very well at that beating festival winner Chianti Classico here in Jan. Followed that up last month in a Graded race again here finishing 4th of 12. He is a course and distance winner so the drop back in trip is of no concern and he can overturn the jolly for his inform yard.

With 6 places on offer it makes sense to look for some value and that is exactly what Risk Belle offers. Only a 5yo with only 11 starts to date, so you could say she is relatively unexposed and there could be more to come. Did come 3rd in last years Boodles so has all important track form and after only one run this year she comes here fresh and can run a place at fancy odds.

The fav won very nicely last month but is 8lb higher here and may find having to give 20lb to my selection a tough ask. Onenightintown receives weight from all and gets on very well with Alice Stevens who is great value for her 5lb claim.

Ted Walsh doesn't have a huge string so it's worth taking the hint when he brings one over. The one over is Gaoth Chuil who is ultra consistent having had 16 starts, winning 4 and placed 7 times. Only the one start this year in early Feb finishing 2nd of 22 over 24+f at Leopardstown. Handy 5lb claim from Shane O'Callaghan and with plenty of places on offer can go close.
