I have been a member of Olbg since September 2009 and must say it's one of the most user friendly sites out there. The fact all tips, comments, stats & performances are recorded and available for inspection it really does mean you have to bring a professional approach. You are judged on what you say and do, so I will do my best to help others along the way in our journey to prise some profit out of those miserly bookies. I am a genuine horse racing enthusiast and have spent (or some might say wasted!) over 30 years as an avid punter and the beauty is I am still learning. This site definitely helps as the information and knowledge of other members available is excellent.....and free. My other hobbies are photography and cricket, I'm the current Skipper of Seveno CC a south London friendly cricket team and we're always looking for new players. I'm also a keen photographer and have captured some great memories especially from Cheltenham and if any photos catch your eye, please get in touch. For me, all roads from about November lead to the greatest sporting event of the year, The Cheltenham Festival and I have been going nearly every year since 1998. The memories, stories, good punts & bad will make a great book one day! I always look for value and hopefully a few juicy punts click on here. I would say horse racing is my game but I do like the odd dabble in the golf, boxing & cricket markets. Enjoy the ride!

I really fancied this one too last time at Uttoxeter but could only finish fourth behind Santos Blue in what actually might prove to be a decent handicap hurdle. Had previously won a novice hurdle at the stiff Carlisle beating a subsequent winner and shaping as if this extra distance would suit. Has some good form in the book as debut in France was a good second to a subsequent listed hurdle winner and British debut at Aintree had worked out quite well with plenty of winners emerging out of it. Nice looking sort with plenty of scope and in a first time hood can hopefully settle better and get home over this trip. Dam has produced a 3m5f winner in the decent D'Jangoso chances are an even stiffer test will suit in time for this one. Cracking each way play here.

Dam was a winner over a mile in a Group 3 as a 2yo and has produced three other foals to see the track as well as this one. One of those was a dual 2yo winner and another won as a 3yo over 1m3f plus so there is plenty to suggest Seamore can win races. The filly also ran a hugely eyecatching race on debut too when staying on really well into fourth at Lingfield shaping as if a step up in trip would suit. Plenty to like on paper and backed up by what I saw on racecourse debut and this one if improving on that initial effort can run well stepping up in distance.

I quite fancied this one last time but could only finish a staying on fourth at Newbury on a day where conditions turned quite horrible by the time this one ran late on the card. Had previously been pulled up in a Grade 2 again in testing conditions and though both those efforts were at 3m and had stamina to prove is bred for the job. By a Presenting mare who produced Real Milan who was a 3m novice chase winner here at Ayr many years ago so hopefully this sibling can replicate that by winning over this trip at the same course over hurdles. Won a point to point in Ireland before swooping hands for big money and won first two starts for yard and to my eye has had viable excuses on both starts since. Too early to give up on and looks a 3m chaser in the making so should relish this test tomorrow. Winner at Newbury the last time has won again since so form might be okay and this one looks a cracking each way bet.

As I fancy Jagwar plenty later on the card have to have a saver bet on this one as has been a revelation in cheekpieces winning first two starts in them before a good third last time in a decent race. Was just ahead of Jagwar that day and is another who should appreciate this step up in trip. Trainer still in cracking form and this progressive sort is out of a Beneficial mate so should relish 3m trip. Each way player too.

Made a pleasing debut when second in a bumper at Huntingdon that worked out well as, as well as this one winning since, the winner, third, sixth and eighth have all won some sort of race since too. Improved on that initial run to really catch the eye next time when bolting up at Ascot showing a lovely turn of foot to win going away. Travelled well and was given a lovely ride by Jonny Burke who keeps the mount over the yard's other runner here that he rode to her sole run and win too. Was keen enough last time but really quickened well and drying ground shouldn't be a bother either. This is tougher but I loved the way she powered through the race last time and can clear away from these close home again.

Always been a horse I've thought there is a decent race in her and nearly did me a right favour in this race last year when second to Pink Legend on good ground. 2lb lower mark today and can bounce back to form now after disappointing subsequently from last year's big run. Looks the each way saver play and this prolific winner from France can go close to winning at last in England especially as best run was over this C&D on decent ground.

Very interesting turned out quickly after winning just four days ago and with no penalty had to be of interest. Win 3 of the last 5 races she's contested and will love it if it continues to dry out. Most disappointing runs have been at Wincanton usually when the mud is flying but has got up Fontwell's stiff hill twice so should handle this place.. PU twice in last five runs too so it's a win or bust bet for me.

May of been a surprise winner of the Dawn Run at Cheltenham but you can't argue with the form as the second and fourth have won Grade 1's since. Good strike rate for yard and a good thing here to remain unbeaten over hurdles. Yard in good form with three winners from last ten sent out and plenty of others running well too. Market suggests this is a one horse race as does the form book and likely to be hard to beat.

Won a bumper and three novice hurdles on first four starts for the yard and though lost her way thereafter this lightly raced 8yo still has time to prove she is a decent sort. Regained the winning thread at Worcester last October at this trip before improving on that effort with a good second to the smart Knappers Hill at Grade 2 level on next start. The third that day, Irish raider Captain Conby was beaten further than subsequent Grade 1 winner Spillane's Towet managed to do when they met and all in all Lady Adare must be backed. Disappointed last time but yard in much better form now with four winners from their last seven runners and drying ground won't be an issue either. Must go well despite conceding 12lb and up to all.,

Looks the archetypal plot job for shrewd yard on just third start for the Skeltons since switch from Ireland. Three average runs at 20-1 each time has seen mark drop 10lb since being shipped in from across the Irish Sea and Harry Skelton takes the ride after the apprentices have done all the steering. Best form has been winning on good or good to yielding ground in Ireland so drying conditions look likely to suit. Best form is at 2m-2m2f but should stay this far and does hold an entry at Ayr in a 3m race in a couple of days so connections must think she is a stayer! All of the above suggest tomorrow is her day and has been well backed for yard that excels with landing a coup. Should improve for good ground and must go close.

Put in a lovely round of jumping last time at Wincanton and though race did fall apart with two of the five runners not completing won by a mile and looks on a fair mark to follow up. Lightly enough raced for a 10yo and must go close in hatrick bid and good ground shouldn't be a bother. Up 7lb but that wouldn't of stopped her last time and Harry Cobden keeps the ride. Catches my eye that this one is his sole mount on the day. Reportedly broke a blood vessel last time which is a slight concern but if given her chance to run must be backed especially as was a close second in this race last year to My Silver Lining. That one has hardly let the form down since and this race looks no stronger so looks a big player to me.

Flat bred sort who will relish the drying conditions to my eye and looks on a very fair mark coming to Britain for handicap debut for shrewd yard. Caught the eye on just third start over hurdles at Hereford when second to the re-opposing Spice Rum who has hardly let the form down since by winning at Sandown then finishing a close up fourth to the decent Royal Way off a mark of 116. The pair pulled miles clear of the third and with a 6lb pull for less than a 3l beating and drying ground another possible positive I'd fancy Emotivo to turn that form around. All of the above suggests my fancy is well in off current mark and she must be the each way play of the race.

Really caught my eye on just second start for new yard when bolting up at Carlisle in really taking fashion. I put him up then too as on pedigree looks a 3m chaser as is by Flemensfirth out of a Milan mare. Obviously didn't beat much there but followed up when turned out quickly stepping up in trip and with a 7lb penalty. Up another 8lb here but must go close to landing the hatrick with Danny Mcmenamin onboard again who rides this place very well. Relished the heavy ground last time and will be hard to beat as long as it doesn't dry out too much as I think this one can improve again when getting 3m. Nap of the day.

Is 6lb higher than when last winning the Bet365 last season at Sandown and it is hard to believe he is just an 8yo given what he has achieved already. That last win took his career total to 1323111 when facing trips at 3m2f plus and wins include the Eider and Scottish National. If the ground dries out I'll be fancying his chances even more and obviously has been primed up for this test. Has been hurdling this season to protect mark before running a not too dissimilar race to what Noble Yeats did in the Ultima at Cheltenham before he won his National two years ago. There won't be a dry eye in the house if this one wins and 8yo's have won four of the last eight renewals. Is a sound jumper and won't mind the hustle and bustle as is a National winner already and can come charging home if not too far back jumping the last time. Looks a bombproof each way bet to me.

Had his quirks and has refused to race before but if on a going day looks to have a huge chance in this. Really took my eye last year when travelling and jumping well in last year's race and wasn't totally cooked before his saddle slipped late on. Looks to have been laid out by master trainer who bucks most trends and ran a mammoth race of the back of nearly a year off in the Midlands National last time when a gallant second carrying 12st Races of the same mark here and must have a real chance now a year older than when tackling this last year as a 7yo. Looks a strong stayer and is lightly enough raced to think there is more to come and definitely has a big pot in him somewhere. Hopefully doesn't get too buzzed up at the start but if jumping off has more than a chance in this. Definite each way play and a good back up to my main fancy Kitty's Light. Seems to have not been touted too much on the run up to this race but stayed the 4m2f trip very well last time at Uttoxeter .

Excelled in the Stayers Hurdle when running a great race in fourth at big odds and luckily paid out a nice punt for me with the extra place. Maybe first just see out the 3m there and hopefully this easier track might just suit. If there ground dries out I'd give this young horse a right chance of being involved here and he did run well to be second in a competitive handicap at this meeting last year. Plenty of old stalwarts in this race but this division is crying out for younger legs and though I thought Crambo could be the one I can't desert the Buddy One who could prove to be a cracking each way wager.

Have to have a saver on this one who has won two races from four starts at Aintree (over both courses) and was a staying on third in this last year. Another reason to back him is was third to Twig at Uttoxeter in the Summer Cup last July not beaten far and had a big enough weight pull here to reverse the places. As I like Twig it would be amiss not to back this one given course form. Wouldn't want the ground too soft and I've backed this one numerous times in the past so gave to go in again. That firm looks better now as the runner up ran well in the Gokd Cup and Ahoy Senor was a close second to Gerri Colombe yesterday. Will put Jonbon's jumping under pressure and if he does that could be the difference as my fancy is a brilliant jumper. The Ryanair first three had tough races at Cheltenham and this one comes here fresher than most and though Jonbon will be tough to beat he had to avoid mistakes. Inothewayurthinkin might actually find this not enough of a test and though respected the one I like is Giovinco who ran a blinder to be third in the Grade 1 Brown Advisory at Cheltenham. Has the beating of the likely favourite on a line through American Mike who nearly twice the distance behind at Cheltenham as he was behind Inothewayurthinkin at Limerick earlier in the season. Yard won this with Ahoy Senor two years ago and this one looks a big price to me. Is a course and distance winner to boot on heavy ground last November and must have a chance if last run at this level wasn't a fluke. Yard had Ahoy Senor run a blinder yesterday and this unexposed chaser can back up improved effort last time by troubling these. Iroko has stamina to prove and Chianti Classico needs to improve too, he may well do and is the danger but to my eye Giovinco has been underestimated here. 7yo's have won the last 4 renewals as well and he looks a big price to me.

Hardly the most reliable but is the sort who if taking to these fences looks the type to run well and it catches my eye that last year's winning rider of this has been booked. I think he truly doesn't stay 3m so the fact that three of last four races were over 2m7f plus I'm hoping this trip will be more suitable. To be fair did win at nearly 3m at Ffos Las on heavy ground but better form is at shorter and could go well for yard in decent enough form where most sent out are running okay. Took 33-1 a couple of days ago so has caught my eye is shortening up and though will find the Irish tough to beat was my each way fancy with the 5 places. Is a bit quirky but the old cliche is that those types could wake up when faced with their first sight of the National fences. Yard form the worry but did put up a career best last time when all her stablemates ran poorly or were left at home and that is testament to her constitution I reckon. Looks to have plenty of scope and with the bookies paying three places looks the best each way bet of the day at the meeting tomorrow at these prices. If yard are going okay surely must place and it wouldn't surprise me if she wins. Impaire et Passe has been all the rage but was 5l behind Bob Olinger last time and again on that form shouldn't beat Luccia. Gerri Colombe ran a stormer to be second in the Gold Cup and Shishkin missed the meeting with the well documented issues with the Henderson yard. Really caught my eye winning her seasonal reappearance on just third start and was always travelling sweetly at the stiff Naas. Had to switch and jockey never really used the whip as this one got on top late on and heavy ground tomorrow will suit too. Form could look even better if Harbour Gem wins the 1.45 and though this is a marked step up in grade I was very taken by Wendla's performance last time. Cracking each way shout at current prices to my eye.

Was a close third in this race last season just behind Netywell but is much better off at the weights today. Effort can be marked up as was hampered by a late faller and did well to maintain momentum as was stopped fairly severely. Won here then next time before going on a run of seconds. Very consistent and looks sure to go close as handles track and going well and has every chance of reversing places with Netywell.

Looks the one to beat and entitled to improve for seasonal debut. Has improved for every run and looked all over the winner last time before the potentially smart filly Wendla switched and won going away. I fancy that one strongly later in the card and will be disappointed if this Zoffany filly doesn't go close. Has a good course run last season when second to a smart filly Azada who holds entries in the Irish 1000 guineas and Oaks and Harbour Gem is a strong fancy here.

Have backed this one as a saver as is a course and distance winner and very interesting on what looks a handy mark. Switched yards and first time tongue tie with James Doyle booked suggest this one is well fancied. Well backed this morning and the dogs have been barking. Sweet Fantasy drifting like a barge so have to go in again as some insurance.

I really like this mare who has twice done me a punting favour over two runs over hurdles winning both times well. Very interesting returning to the all weather and is fully unexposed at this trip here. New yard have seemed to have sweetened her right up but she was very good on the flat on turf for previous yard and is a likeable sort. Has run well on the all weather too and was second here on sole start at the track but looking at her hurdles form those trips she contested races over were far too short. Has fitness edge on main rival and I'll be shocked if she doesn't hit the frame. Yard not yet got going on the all weather yet but this one looks the sort to change that and looks on a very fair mark given hurdles exploits. Holds a Group 2 entry and is obviously well regarded. Massive chance to my eye.

Wasn't disgraced in the Group 3 Aston Park Stakes when last seen behind Haskoy who was arguably unlucky in the St Leger and that looks good form. Is feasibly treated now dropping into handicaps and in grade so must go close. Is unbeaten on the all weather from two starts and both those wins were over 2f further, must go well as there looks plenty of pace on here as the likes of Laafi & Killybegs Warrior will crack on early. Should get that good early pace to aim at and looks sure to go well on seasonal return and if fit enough. Yard going really well and are 7 winners from last 28 runners and are 13-52 in 4yo plus races on the all weather this season and both of those add up to a 25% strike rate. Only doubt for me is fitness but looks value on known form and yard's current well being and first time tongue tie might just be the final piece of the jigsaw.

This Joseph O'Brien raider really interests me returning to Kempton for this race. Made her debut here in a very strong maiden for the Meades a couple of years ago and then improved a ton to win over 7f here on second start bolting up from a wide position under just hands and heels riding. That effort suggested she would get a mile standing on her head and I'm surprised she hasn't won again since. However she has kept really good company in tough handicaps and Listed races and always runs well even under unfavourable conditions on the turf. Very significant she returns to the all weather to place of sole victory and has run really well off lengthy breaks before. Hard not to see her involved and looks nailed on to hit the frame at the very least. Only one 5yo has won this in the last 10 years but this scopey sort must go very close for shrewd yard.

To be fair it was a tough choice not to put this one up too so have to have a saver as was another huge eyecatcher on debut at Wolverhampton. Was held up as was a bit outpaced but was a huge notable effort staying on late into fourth without being knocked about. Effort actually suggested another furlong would suit but I liked the way this one hit the line and Oisin Murphy takes the ride from young Brandon Wilkie. Yard is 9-35 at a 26% strike rate in 3yo AW races this season and go well here especially. Just think Grandlad had the stronger form at this stage but will back both and do the reverse forecast.

Was a massive eyecatcher on debut when only just denied by a match fit odds on shot and they both pulled well clear of the third at Newcastle last time. Was a bit tardy at the start and then keen enough but showed a great attitude and battled all the way to the line. Should handle this surface and though yard hasn't had many all weather runners this season they are in decent form with two of the last fifteen sent out winning, and most of the others running really well. Natural improvement from debut would ensure he will go close here and looks the one to best. Looks a nice sort physically too and will win races.

Looks a nice sort on paper and has been picked up out of point to point that looks okay in the book too. Won nicely and the fifth and sixth came out to win next time in their points too. Yard in good form and are 2-8 with four places too in bumpers this season. Should go close

Has 12st to carry but had that steadier last time at Sandown but still ran a blinder to be second to a decent sort. Looks ready to strike and will handle conditions and did win a novice chase posting off 140 so might still be nicely treated off 2lb lower here despite being 3lb higher than last time. Yard still going well and though has inform rivals here looks one of the strongest stayers in what looks likely to be a thorough test. Entries in the Scottish National and Bet365 at Sandown tell you this one can stay and though I'm wary one of those is the real target should go close today.

Very eyecatching winner from Havana Storm last time and though that one is slightly better off at the weights now going handicapping this one was well on top over this C&D. Travelled powerfully from a wide draw which is much kinder today so will take a lot of beating. Looks on a fair mark given visual impression of win and though was a tad keen through the race got home well and showed a good attitude.
