Shapes as if this type of trip could suit, and although the owners jockey prefers Limerick lace, this one can improve on his excellent Cheltenham 3rd placed effort. With the trainer being responsible for around a quarter of the field, e will not be far away and he is due to go up 2lb in future races.

Those who do well are rated between 131 and 140, no win earlier in the season, carried 11 st 1 or less and aged over 8 seeing as good stats. Kilbeg King was beaten along way in the Amatuer at Cheltenham, but is dropped 2lb for that and his stable have had 5 winners and 10 placed from 35 runners at this track, with a 23 profit. cost a fortune for his new owner and has been kept fresh for this for the champion trainer elect. He fails on a couple of stats, but the top two rated tend to win this and 76% winners come from the top two in the betting. His trainer will have him ready and he can win this from some promising types.

A good pointer to this race is the British Stallion Studs EBF Mares' NH Flat Race in which the selection won convincingly enough to play a hand in this. 11/11 winners had at least 2 runs and one win, while 9/11 winners had a run within 60 days, these stats take away 12 of the 17 runners. The daughter of Milan is highly though of by her team, and she has a fitness edge over the Mullins runner, and she can run well at a decent price on ground that suits.

Double figure odds runners tend to not win this on recent trends with only 2/22 winning, that drops the field down to 3, and graded form is a plus which takes us down to the top two in the betting. The selection has been unlucky to run against the classy duo of Teahupoo and State Man this year and was unbeaten last term. He was behind Bob Olinger last time out when State Man won the Irish Champion easily, but I do not think the selection ran to his best that day. This course can play to his strenghts and he could well run the field ragged and take this.

A race in which Gold cup runners do well, Gerri Colombe can take this for the Irish team. A good winner here last term, the top two rated horses tend to win this, and rated 170 or higher is a positive stat. One stat against Shiskin is that no horse since 2010 won last time out, and although that one is defending his crown, his first two runs are a concern. Likewise, the Elliot team have not had a winner with his last 30 runners, with only 3 placing, and being beat comfortably is a concern for the Gerri Colombe team, but he has shown his class and that can get him through here.

Can take the opener in a trappy affair. Last time out winner surprisingly have a poor record in this with al of the previous 14 winners being beaten last time out. With another surprising stat being that Paul Nicholls has a poor record in this with a -15 record, in fact the top 3 in the betting, it could be argued on stats are beateable, but it is unlikely on form. The Irish had a poor record also on stats, but have not had a lot of runners, and did have the first three home last year, so that stat could be turning. Il Etait Temps has arguably the best form, having won twice this season, including a grade 1 and has chased home stable companin, Gaellic Warrior on the other two occassions. He had the best hurdle form, again winning grade 1 event and can take this for an inform stable/

was a useful flat horse and an even better hurdler when sent to that discipline last year, winning twice and placing 3 times from 7 runs, one of those places was a second to Nusret in a grade 2 hurdle. Two runs on the all weather saw him placed last Autumn and he may have need the run on his return for a new stable. Could reach a place at a nice price.
