Ballygunner Castle is a 5yr-old son of Soldier of Fortune ex Hear the Thunder. Lto on his racecourse debut he was 2l third at 11/4 behind his stablemate Coco Masterpiece 4/5f by Authorized in a 2m bumper at Thurles in February. He was ridden on that occasion by Miss F O'Brien for WP Mullins. He'll now be ridden in this 2m3f bumper by Miss J Townend. As he moves up in distance here & with the ground conditions likely to be soft/heavy I think he can outstay his rivals. The stable won this race last season with Polly's Fortune 8/13f by Soldier of Fortune. I make him my Nap of the day.
