Graham Potter favourite to take over at Leicester

Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move away from Leicester in the last couple of weeks, with the Manchester United job becoming available. 

Graham Potter is the 2/1 favourite with bookies to take over at Leicester if Rodgers was to leave.

Potter is currently Brighton manager, with his Albion side currently 9th in the Premier League.

Brighton have been one of the surprise packages of the season so far and seemingly that has made Potter one of the most sought after managers in the league.

The English manager has been linked with a few of the jobs that have become available and it's no surprise that he's been linked with this position too.

Leicester have ambitions to finish in the top 4 and play a certain style of football and Potter's tactics fit right into that style.

Current Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has been linked with numerous jobs away from Leicester in the past couple of seasons.

Leicester winning the FA Cup last season has strengthened his position at the club and has made more clubs look at signing him as their manager.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with Rodgers, but Pep Guardiola isn't looking like leaving City for another 18 months.

Man United though need a new manager after the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer meant that they're actively searching for a replacement.

Rodgers previous managerial role at Liverpool may be a slight stumbling block, but a lot has happened since he was manager there and you'd expect that both parties would look past that.

Betting on the next Leicester City manager includes former player and England legend Gary Lineker is a 100/1 outsider to be the next manager at the King Power Stadium.

Lineker currently presents Match of the Day and regularly speaks about being a massive Leicester fan. 

The former striker has no previous managerial experience but a job at the club he loves would be tough to turn down.

At odds of 100/1 though, bookmakers give just a 1% chance that Lineker steps into management at his former club.
