Eurosong 2023 is Ireland's national format to pick who will represent them at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest later this year.

Six finalists will compete against each other at Eurosong 2023 and it is Connolly who is the 15/8 favourite with bookies to win Eurosong and represent Ireland.

The 20-year-old singer Jennifer Connolly, known by her stage name Connolly, is given a 34% chance of winning Eurosong according to William Hill's latest odds.

Dublin-based indie-pop band Wild Youth are the second favourites in the betting with their single 'We Are One' at odds of 5/2.

John Lydon's Public Image Ltd are one of the outsiders in the betting

Public Image Ltd are the band that Sex Pistols singer John Lydon formed after the band split in the late 70s and they're 11/2 to represent Ireland by winning Eurosong.

Their song Hawaii is described as "a love letter to Lydon's wife of nearly five decades who is living with Alzheimer's" and dedicated to everyone going through tough times.

A win for Public Image Ltd would be a shock but stranger things have happened and Lydon's popularity may well win them Eurosong.
