Boris Johnson's reshuffling of the Cabinet this week may have proven to be a masterstroke if the bookmaker's odds on how many seats Labour will win at the next general election are anything to go by.
Betting sites are now showing the biggest odds to date on the potential outcome as punters confidence drops to just 31% translating to betting odds of 9/4 against the Conservative's strengthening their position to 66% confidence and odds on at 1/2

Remember Gavin Williamson? The dumped secretary for Education was once a 20/1 shot to become the next prime minister after Boris Johnson.
Rishi Sunak remains the favourite at 4.7 odds, while Starmer has been as low as 6/4 in the betting at times but now punters are able to get almost 4/1 and the same price as Sunak.
It leaves a head to head match between Rishi Sunak and Starmer as pretty much a 50-50 race, with Liz Truss and the recently demoted Dominic Raab trailing in joint 3rd at 12/1
