In The Bag
Odds of 4/9 offered by bookmakers for Queen's Gambit to win Outstanding Limited Series, represents a 70% chance of adding a 10th Emmy to the already impressive haul the show has achieved.

Queens Gambit has already bagged 9 Emmys in the prior awards shows, sweeping the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday night picking up 7 trophies taking it to within 4 of the biggest haul of all time in 2008 when John Adams scooped 13 awards.
The Creative Arts Emmys are aimed at crafts for various areas including limited series, and “Queen’s Gambit” won awards for its cinematography, costumes, makeup, picture editing, production design, sound editing, and sound mixing.
Betting on the Emmys continues with bookmakers offering odds on more category results this weekend for the Prime Time Emmy awards show
Queen's Gambits Emmys 2021 so far
- Best Limited/Movie Casting
- Best Cinematography (Limited/Movie)
- Best Costumes (Period)
- Best Makeup (Period and/or Character, Non-Prosthetic)
- Best Music Composition (Limited/Movie/Special)
- Best Picture Editing (Single-Camera Limited/Movie)
- Best Production Design (Narrative, One-Hour or More)
- Best Sound Editing (Limited/Movie/Special)
- Best Sound Mixing (Limited/Movie)
Further Nominations
Another 4 trophies and Queen's Gambit would equal the most successful show ever at the Emmys. We make it a 7/1 to do that and 20/1 to break 'John Adams' record and win 14 in total

There are 6 more awards for which the Queen's Gambit has been nominated but at the time of writing, only 2 have any betting available.
There is a 70% chance at odds of 4/9 that the show will get the highly prized Oustanding limited series. It would seem unfathomable that after sweeping the creative arts awards on Saturday it could not follow up the impressive haul with the main prize.
Further options for more trophies include Lead Actress for Anya Taylor-Joy, Supporting Actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Moses Ingram in Supporting Actress categories. With Directing and Writing nominations too.
The Oustanding Limited series looks close to certain, so it remains that a further three awards from the 5 nominations would put Quen's Gambit on par with 'John Adams' which scooped some 13 awards in 2008.
4 More trophies would deem Queen's Gambit the most successful show ever at the Emmys
